How do I counter new dying light?

I feel like there is nothing i can really do to play around this as survivor, as when stacked with ruin, and Pop Goes the Weasel, it makes the game really hard for survivors. Granted, ruin doesn't bother me but like, I just got Tunneled and camped to only be rewarded by having the game slowed down for everyone else
