Perfectly balanced
I just started playing a month ago and stuck to survivor until recently. Now I main Susie and get put up against rank 5 and below survivors at a rate of 1 out of every 3 games and I'm only rank 19. Doesn't help that I'm colorblind and everyone is toxic with flashlights. I never camp or tunnel unless survivors decide to be toxic and mend in my face etc. but man is it tempting with this crap.

We get it. DBD matchmaking is broken.

So mending in front of a Legion's face is toxic now?
Entitled killers never fail to surprise me. Why wouldn't they mend in front of your face if you're just going to run away and inflict deep wounds elsewhere? lmao

You're allowed to camp and tunnel lol.
Being colorblind is tough. I saw pictures of what it is like and that is a shame that there isn't a good option available for people with this.

some maps are straight up unplayable depending on which type of colorblindness you have. Yamaoka is a constant contender for worst, both variations, but a lot of people have problems with some azarov's versions.

I'm not sure if it would help, but do you play with headphones?
Sound is so important as a killer...without my headphones, i am complete trash as a killer...

How is someone mending in your face toxic?

as all things should be.

I don't know if i'd call it toxic, but its a pretty good example of bad game design. Players will often mend instantly instead of even running from legion since his power encourages him to immediately forget that person exists, and if the legion wants to break their power early to punish the action, they get stunned for it. I almost feel like the devs bank on it with the whole "hit 5 survivors in a single FF" challenge in the next rift 🤔

why is it bad game design? the survivor should run across the map even though the killer is going for the next target? if they just play efficiently without wasting time running around they should get punished? the legion should be able to FF and then immediately hit with basic attack with no stun? interesting opinion you got there.

Because mend freezes while the survivor is in the terror radius now, which was done to fix a different exploit on the killer side. The mending action doesn't exactly take that long, and its not uncommon for the first person to be fully mended by the time the legion finds and/or hits a 2nd or third person. Its part of why their power is often said to be great at injuring survivors, but horrible at downing them.
As it stands the survivor should be punished for choosing to just mend and not actually be afraid of the killer. All they would need to do is incorporate something like "hitting a survivor with feral frenzy while they are mending will cause them to lose half the mend timer/be downed/anything." Survivors still have tons of counterplay since the mend timer doesnt actually go down while in the TR, so they can bait it to force the stun, bait the chase and waste both the power duration and the legion's map pressure, etc.
It just really doesn't sit well with how it works, If I ever get tagged near a good loop i'll just instantly start mending because I know I have at least 4 seconds of reaction time to get distance and get in position. There's no need for respect as opposed to most other killers' powers.

It's situational. If I'm going to mess with others then obviously not lol. However, if you want to flashlight blind or pallet stun and wait and do it then I consider it insulting. I don't see that as being entitled at all. It takes the fun out of playing is all.

You nailed it.

It's situational. It's how you do it. Not the actual mending. Plus, I have to cancel FF and take a stun to punish it. Seems fair.

I have black/white colorblindness so everything sucks but especially bright maps like Ormond.

Yes I do and I definitely agree.
