New (original) Killer Idea's

I always hear of new Franchise Killers to bring into the game, does anyone have any Original Killer idea's? If so, How would they work, how would they look?

    I made this concept a bit on the forum before so here's the copy paste.

    Gertrude McDowell. The name of a legend tells within the depths of the rural country. One of a decrepit woman that feasts on the blood of whoever roams the wilderness alone. Through spells and sorcery, villagers would disappear without a trace. Through her wicked poisons, those affected were left tormented for days on end. Some vomited blood until they heeled over. Others went blind or deaf. Many lost their minds from inhaling its stench. The luckiest simply bled to death a few minutes after. No matter how many times one escapes, her hunger will never be sated. In the rampant night the screams of men and women could be heard, followed by the haunting cackle of a monster far beyond the scope of humanity. Alongside her poison, she carried a sacrificial dagger, to sacrifice her victims to the unhloy lord. Tired of living in fear, nearby villagers banded together and the night of her capture was at hand. Burning alive in flames of the stake, her final cries for their blood were heard. Despite her body scorched and lacerated, she remains a petrifying tall tale for those that roam the fog.

    Her power is Witches Brew: 3 bottles of a swapmish green tonic concocted with her magic tomes. Hitting a survivor with a brew will give a random effect (Blindness, Oblivious, Madness, Mangled, etc.) for 30 seconds. (Can be altered with addons)

    Plague of Punishment: The killer gains an obsession. Whenever the obsession fails a skill check, any survivors within 6/12/18 meters of the obsession. are highlighted for 3 seconds. The obsession is exempt from this reveal.

    "Your mistakes shall damn your peers for eternity".

    Hex: Watchful Eye: When the killer damages a generator Watchful Eye activates and marks it. The next survivor to begin repairing the marked generator will be exposed for 30/45/60 seconds.

    "You cannot hide your greed from me."

    Sinner's Pride: Everytime a generator is completed, you are revealed to the survivors for 5 seconds. In return, you gain a 10% haste effect for 20/25/30 seconds.

    "No shame shall be cast upon my soul"!

    I'd imagine she'd be a combination of freddy and hag with burnt skin and a small but ragged body. Clothed with a cloak similar to ghostface and her bottle tied to her waist and the witch hat because it sounds good

    This was actually the reason for me finally joining the forums. I have some ideas on this and new mechanics to work with them. Also; UNIQUE Themes AND Terror Radius sounds are a MUST!


    1: New height class; Short. Same height as when other characters crouch. They can't vault but they can go under pallets maybe? Still working out movement stuff.


    2: because of their vertical restrictions new sacrifice mechanics would be introduced: Sacrificial Zones! Instead of carry, they drag their catches above the center of a circle with rune markings and press an 'Impale' prompt and from the center a spike goes through the torso. Escaping or being rescued would mean they or their teammates would lift them off the spike and animation can be recycled from endgame auto sacrifice animation.


    Candidates for me are:

    Chucky of Child's Play. Short model with fast movement type ability. Terror Radius sound: His maniacal laughter.

    Adult Andy as survivor

    Good Guy Doll factory with black magic motifs as map


    Blade of Puppet Master. Short and stealth focused, maybe with a stalking ability? Terror Radius sound: scraping his blade and hook together in anticipation

    Toulon, running from his now Enntity loyal creation as survivor

    The hotel from the first film as the map


    Kayako of Ju-On. Model based of crawling models used for downed survivors. Terror Radius sound: Her iconic death rattle.

    Part of the neigh godhood surrounding the house as map, much like Haddonfield

    The bottles kind of remind me of The Clown. I get similar vibes as you stated as well. Overall a pretty good idea.

    I haven't given too much thought and sorry for poor spelling. On cellphone

    Sirean J. Born into a pirates life and daughter of Killian Jones she grew up with her father learning ways of the pillaging and how to sail. Until one day her and her fathers crew were caught in a storm.

    With sail torn they drifted far out to sea with no controle. No Rutters or paddles to row back. The location in which they ended up was in the middle of three large stones oddly forming a triangle. They tried and attempted to escape but for some reason the boat would not move from the middle


    2 weeks pass of being in the same spot. With food supplies running low and scurvy kicking in the crew started to go hungry. One night while sirean was asleep

    She woke to an odd noise as she walked up on deck... blood...soaked the wood all over. her fathers head rolling to her feet. Standing face to face with a beautiful creature. Humming as blood drips down her lips... teeth razor sharp... sireans only instinct was fury and rage...she quickly grabbed her sword at her side and slit the beast throat... the humming had no effect on her. Starving with nothing to lose she devoured the siren out of hunger... the entity was pleased...


    the boat was found 3 more weeks later.. only 7 of the 8 crew were found.


    Killer : The Siren


    Perk 1:Melody of fate: male survivors that are wounded/Exposed in the terror radious of The Siren view her as a generator if she comes to a complete stand still for 5 seconds. upon moving this illusion is broken

    " Come on crew! To the brothels!"


    Perk2: Scurvy: rotting scales cut deep into the survivor. for 40seconds. Cannot be healed by medkits

    " pass me the fruit!"


    Perk 3: Bermuda. Cannot move from second hook rescue for 3 seconds if rescued within 10 seconds

    " Where am i??"

    Power is really really really unreliable though. RNG based and the RNG doesn't really pay off. I think the power is extremely underpowered. I like the killer idea overall but the power needs a new idea.

    117.5% move speed, but with a 40 meter terror radius (same idea as slower killers having a 24m radius.) I know, monitor OR distressing with terroir radius perks will be meta


    power ideas: still thinking about this... (has to be weaker, like slower killers with a stronger power than standard m1’s to make up for speed - usually) maybe the move speed alone is the power?



    perks: 

    hex haste: 1/1.5/2% move speed boost until totem is cleansed (maybe broken strong I dunno?)


    Hex hindered: injured survivors suffer a 1/1.5/2% speed reduction for 15 seconds after being injured.


    Not while you’re injured: after being injured, survivors cannot work on a gen, cleanse a totem or open an exit gate for 20/30/40 seconds. (Can still open a chest, heal themselves/other survivors and open a hatch with a key) effect ends before timer if healed.


    The windows have ears: performing a slow vault on a window when within the terror radius gives a location notification to the killer


    Don’t bother dropping: can break 2 standing pallets per match. Has a 120? second cool down and starts on cool down at the beginning of the game. (Shack pallet is immune?)


    Where are your friends?: like infectious fright but when u injure a survivor, not down them.


    Where are you going to go now?: hitting a survivor makes pallets outside of an 4m radius invisible to the survivor for 30 seconds. Countered by windows of opportunity.
