Dear developers! Can we have swf mark on top of the players if they are swf?
That would allow killers to make decisions way faster and would increase queue times overall.
Because if killer see swf killer will either prepare or dodge. What they do now? They check their profiles and dodge or prepare afterwards. Which like i said is only a waste of time. SWF mark would allow killers to prepare instantly.

Killers already have instant queue times. This would do nothing to help survivor queues. In fact this would worsen them as more killers would doge lobbies with 3 and 4 person SWF groups. The only way to fix survivor queue times is to either increase the high rank killer population or decrease the high rank survivor population. There's just not enough high rank killers to go around.

No. If killer dont want to play against swf he will check profiles and will take private profiles as swf so no it only helps everyone to not waste any time.

Here is the reality of the situation. Not every killer can tell an SWF, i get accused of it nearly every week while playing solo. So it's a falsehood to say killers can just tell. A very large percentage of killers WILL dodge swf if they get an indicator.
Suddenly que times are massive for survivors. Even if you don't care about survivor wait times, the devs now have a problem, people are already fed up of wait times as they are, add to it, and suddenly they are losing players. Meanwhile, the people who really want to circumvent this SWF marker, are dodging lobbies so they can get with their friends without having an SWF marker...que's now take even longer.
People can say that killers won't dodge if you were given an SWF marker, but since they dodge for items and sometimes even offerings, that statement is a fallacy.

Everyone who is bothered can. You can see their profiles see who they are friends with and private profiles can be taken as swf.

Except my profile is private due to killers repeatedly sending offensive messages. I'm not in an SWF. In fact a lot of players on both sides do this to prevent having to deal with toxicity.

Queues are so bad because killer players are leaving the role. More killers, more rounded MMR, faster queue times. It's only this last patch and the upcoming one that FINALLY something has been done to help killers (gen speeds not being one of them outside of the toolbox changes).
The killer role has been getting killed and it drives killer players (like me) away from it.

I don't believe I have disputed any of the above facts you have mentioned and this really doesn't have much to do with the subject at hand. If Killers return, great. Still doesn't mean they won't dodge the second they even 'suspect' you are in an SWF at the moment, nor will they refrain from doing so if an SWF was revealed at the start of the match. I'm not really here to wag my fingers at killers that dodge, that's their business. My point is, adding an SWF marker at the start, will never help que times, it would in fact make the que times worse.
I really wouldn't have an issue with this, heck I've lobbied for a long time that facing an SWF should come with a little extra BP at the end. As long as we aren't falling into the "Punish swf by handicapping them" territory, because again, this would cause more issues than it would solve, especially with que times.

@SoylentPixie yes exactly. Killer gets peace of mind for knowing if it was SWF or solo.
The solo survivor can reveal they were going at it alone.
SWF will become EXPOSED and cant lie about it anymore
Solo survivors who do well could really shine

Before dedicated servers you could tell because swf would spawn into lobby at the same time. They got rid of this with D. Servers because too many killers were lobby dodging and swf weren't having fun because killers would bring sweaty builds and swf didn't want to deal with that.

But with dedicated swf-lobbys seperated from casual queues, you could balance both seperatly, by either buffing the killer or nerfing the swf,
and then balance solo survivors around their limited knowledge of what goes on in the game.
At the moment, balancing around solo and swf is impossible in my opinion, but devs dont want to adress that.
People say killer woulndt want to go against swf, but if the balance would be obtained in that game mode, it wouldnt matter for killers, because balanced is balanced.

Why? So you have even more of a reason to Lobby dodge? If they implement this, then they should give Survivors the ability to see what Killer they're versing.

I made a similar topic last week. Yes Killer dodge lobby will increase, which will not happens
But if Killer get an noti icon of SWF in a trial when the match starts, it will be fair to me since Killer can not dodge. Just a pre-warning that the game is going to be hard and Killer have to put more work on it.
Beside, to avoid sudden 3 Flashlight from swf. I think Survivors should not able to change loadout after lobby time count down to 20sec, so Killer can have their last 15sec to react with Survivors' item.

Just put it in the post match screen. It won't hurt anybody if you know they're SWF after the match has finished. If you put it in the lobby, then Survivor queue times will increase because Killers will know they're about to go up against a 4 man SWF and dodge.

Yet, there are killer perks like Third seal and knockout that just dont work against swf. they might be played, if there were a chance they might actually do something in a game.

No, they don't. Private profiles do not always mean SWF. Some people just don't want everything about them to be public or like keeping to themselves. If you think that every private profile in DbD is possibly hiding an SWF group, then you're crazy.

The better solution would actually be fixing the cause "many killers would dogde SWFs then" and not the reaction.
Till then it just would be nice to have an UI information in the endscreen for more and better informations about the different experience.

At OP, wont happen, it would basically kill SWF for the most part which means people cant play with their friends (unless they find some sneaky work around) meaning they play less or not at all meaning less moneyz for the devs.

According to BHVR stats there is SWF is in 50% of the matches, and we know well that if killers could see it they would dodge it asap. That would destroy queue times for both SWF and solo players, who must pray to get into a solo-only lobby to be able to play.

People like me who play with their friends when we play survivor will almost never get a match. Now if they added an indication on the post-match screen I wouldn't mind. But there shouldn't be one in the pre-game lobby. It's already been said but you'll dodge the lobby anyway, it doesn't matter if there's an indicator or not so what's the point of asking for it? You're cutting out seconds of time at most and killer queues are already instant.

You are literally putting words in my mouth, I literally never said that killers can never dodge lobbies. I never said "put a SWF indicator or let killers dodge lobbies."
I was saying that putting a SWF indicators would just let killers dodge the lobbies, they'd see a SWF then immediately leave the lobby and SWF would NEVER get into a game or take a very long time

I wouldn't mind a notification AFTER the match is over to let me know that was a swf. If we had a swf marker at the lobby screen then killers WILL dodge lobbies and que times will get worse.

The devs have said multiple times comms are not cheating. The issue is balance, if it is even possible.

No. Swf is balanced for top tier killers. Communicating on how to play or telling each other when in chase is actually balanced(something that makes solo extremely easy to play against) . Perks such as OOO can make swf unbalanced though to some extent.
