Just thought!
Make gens repair for 20 sec longer. Return toolboxes charges + like 50% adictional charges and give them thouse 25% repair speed?
Now litle math - 100 sec to do gen - repair with toolbox (worn-out toolbox have the same speed of repair as yellow or commodious toolboxes) 1.25 = 80 seconds
Typical ammount of charges for tool box before was 80 charges (worn-out/mechanical/engineer) so + 50% = 120 that would be 1.2 gens
yellow and alex 130 + 50% = 165 wich same as 1.65 gens
commodious 180 + 50% = 270 same as 2.7 gens ... not bad!
so let's say we take engineer toolbox wich now would have 35% of repair speed
100 / 1.35 = 74.074074074074 (and so on)
now lets say repair addons Socket Swivels and Clean Rag wich are 15 and 10% (25%)
100 / 1.6 = 62.5 seconds just for 1 gen
let,s say we take a team of 4 survivors with good coms and no perks and engeener toolboxes with repair addons let's say they are average survivors and lets say they go to average map against good killer (hillbilly) that don't camp or tunel and has no perks but has 2 add-ons for insta saw
Start of the game - let's say each spawn near generator and not together (5 seconds to start repearing with toolbox)
Killer found 1 survivor #1 within 25 seconds of strat of the trial (average 1-st chase time)
42 secconds - first hit -
58 seconds - downed survivor #1
65 seconds - first hook #1
68 - 3 gens done
69 - 1 survivor #2 go for save, other go for repair
71 - survivors #3 and #4 found separate gens
73 - killer found survivor #3 that was working on a gen
75 - unhook #1
79 - downed survivor #3 (chainsaw)
83 - hook survivor #3
87 - survivor #1 healed and went for save
91 - chase of survivor #2
95 - survivor #1 unhooked survivor #3
99 - survivor #1 and survivor #3 returned to gen that survivor #1 was repearing at the beggining
102 - hit survivor #2
119 - downed survivor #2
122 - survivor #1 and #3 repaired gen. survivor #1 went for a save, survivor #3 went to repair gens (still injured)
124 - hook survivor #2
129 - survivor #4 repaired gen and went for a save
130 - killer found survivor #4 and start chasing him
136 - survivor #1 unhooker survivor #2
137 - survivor #3 found exit gates and started opening them
142 - survivor #4 was hit
153 - survivor #2 and #1 found survivor #3 that almost opened gates
155 - survivor #4 downed
157 - exit gates was open by survivor #3
160 - survivor #2 / #1 /3 escaped
162 - survivor #4 was hooked and sacrificed

That would make toolboxes a requirement for survivors, and killers would start dodging a lot lobbies with toolboxes.

I agree... in generators current state. It's such a boring and mindless objective. We should change it to something that requires actual brain cells to do and can't be finished before a killer walks over to the gen. Those 2 changes would make the game soooo much better for everyone.

I'd say making status effects apply to skillchecks... so survivors have another layer of skill added on to what it is currently
Remember the Ruin of old... bring that back as a status effected skillcheak... as Hemorrhage or broken
I have made a discussion with all status effects and their own type of skillcheck... but it got buried (lol)

I actually like this idea. Its a staple in most horror movies if you wanna be real about it.

There is no real skill in completing generators as they are now. Sure it takes skill to know when and which gens to repair, but the action of holding down m1 and occasionally hitting space takes very little if any actual brain power. The objective needs to actually be challenging instead of sitting down.
