BT irks me more than DS
Borrowed Time though is kind of cheap when all 4 survivors can have it at all times. They should nerf it. Make it so survivors can only do it once per trial and the rescuer’s aura is shown to the killer for the duration if the killer is within range. Make it so that if the hooked survivor gets hit and they reach the exit gates without getting healed, the timer automatically runs out and they get downed.
People say DS is unfair but at least the survivor has to be on point and can only do it once. BT feels worse because you got them fair and square and their survivor buddies don’t have a care in the world

Maybe don't stay so close to the hook. That's what BT is meant to punish. Put on BBQ, find someone on a gen across the map, and go after them. So what if the guy gets saved. That's at least 2 not doing gens, and if you chase the guy you saw on a gen then now at most there is 1 on a gen.

At least with Ds, yeah it sucks, but they have to get a skill check on a really short timer.Borrowed Time though is kind of cheap when all 4 survivors can have it at all times. They should nerf it. The funny thing is -> It was once per trial. But it protected both rescuer and rescued suvivors

um.. why?
You can grab survivor from hook. If you can't - someone's blocking you and get's hit. Or you hit the unhooked one and activate bleed out timer, which is also ok.
And if bleeding survivor goes to exit gates, it means you screwed up: it requires all 4 survivors to actually make it.
It is balanced now
It was so imbalanced before3 -
Why would you hate borrowed time? You wouldn’t have to deal with it if you weren’t around the hooked person. You wouldn’t be complaining about borrowed time if you would put on BBQ and look for other survivors. It is meant to counter campers.

Borrowed Time is fine.
The perk exists so killers can't punish rescues as hard.
If you want the kill, then you should down the unhooker.

dont camp

You do know that the extra health only applies if you hit them within 15 seconds, right? Just wait 16 seconds, then swing.1

BT use to give both people the affect and was only usable once. The old way sucked as killer because you automatically lost to BT endgame. The new (getting older now) change just makes it so you have to hit the person not being saved or risk hitting the unhooked. I don't see this perk being over used or being a big problem.
This is simply my opinion based off my experience.

Old BT was worse. It gave both the unhooked and the unhooker the borrowed time effect. It was braindead and rewarded unhooking in the killers face, especially end game when the gates are open. Both survivors got out with no issue. Now BT at least is completely altruistic, trading yourself for the hooked.
Don't even compare the two. DS isn't a hard skillchecks to hit, essentially punishes the killer for winning the chase and wastes a lot of time. It allows a bad survivor to do better than they could and can literally be the difference between the killer winning or losing the game at high ranks.2 -
Borrowed Time punish, in a way, camping, so common sense would be not to camp i guess, right ?

Borrowed Time has counterplay. You can
- Hide your terror radius various ways - it's Terror Radius based, not distance based.
- beat the guy going for the rescue by grabbing them.
it's really not that big a deal at all. You have options. Use them.
