Gen Slowdown Devour Hope
Killers hate Gen Rushing and Survivors hate being camped. So what if there was a perk that slowed down generator speeds for every unhook that the Killer was 24m away? Here's my idea:
Mechanical Meltdown
Your hate for progress draws you away from hooks.
When a Survivor is rescued from a Hook at least 24 metres away, Mechanical Meltdown receives a Token.
For each token, Survivors Repair Speeds Decrease by 8%. Tokens are capped at 5.
Any hook that takes place within 24m of the Killer removes a token.
I feel like this perk would be extremely healthy for the game. And encourage fun gameplay for both sides.

Going to encourage hook rushing.
And 40% max is going to be extreme in my opinion.

@Clevite you can only potentially have 8 hook saves per match. and the survivors can counterplay the perk by getting off gens and coordinating quick saves with borrowed. getting the full five stacks will be hard once Survivors get used to counterplay and even if you do get the full 40% it'll be late-game and probably only effect the last 1-2 gens.
The point is that it discourages Survivors from holding M1 and gives the Killer no incentive to camp. It also encourages sabotages and breakout, which is a playstyle that's not currently used almost at all

Neat idea, but need tweeking, unhooks shouldnt take tokens, because that would make the survivours intentionaly ran near the hooked survivour ina chase just to get rid of 1 token. Which is a double edged sword, it can mess up other survivours if the killer choose to switch target, or just render the perk useless after 1 maybe 2 hook.

No. You get the buff for hooking anyone. Don't give the obsession free perks. And are discouraged from camping.

I thought that Killers want the Survivors to unhook other Players so that they are not working on Gens. This would make them rather stick to Gens.
Also Survivors should not be punished by doing Unhooks in such a way. Especially not when they are not Hook-Rushing but waiting until the Killer is far away.

yeah no this perk would be insane on all killers I could only see it working as a hex or not and lowering the numbers. dear god i don't even want to imagine what freddy could do with this. I don't see why hook bombs should be encouraged and I don't think campers care if they get an 8% regression penalty to gen speeds. Anybody camping at 5 or 4 gens left isn't doing it because gens go too fast, if anything this perk would just be a huge buff to all killers including the camping bubbas of the world.

Even if this was a good idea, it's a major debuff that doesn't even have a Hex totem tied to it. That's no bueno.
About your idea, you want to encourage survivors to get off gens and rush hook saves? Doesn't sound too healthy to me. Rushing hook saves already prevent you from snowballing, but now you want it to negate an extremely big debuff? I know you have good intentions but this idea would not be healthy or even fun to use/play against.
