Is odd bulb useful?

I see for flashlight saves is useful the green bulb but for the odd bulb I don't know the timing so it's worth to use it? (If you say yes could you say the time to wait to flashlight save or the animation time to start blinding the killer?)

Odd Bulb and Halogen aren't that great for saves, instead use the Lenses.
I'm also not great at hitting the saves though, so I can't recommend the timing.

Thank you for awnsering this, sometimes I use Halogen and I usually miss the first save but then it become really useful, I started this discussion to see if odd bulb is useful too (and see the timing) but thank you for the advice too.
