I started taking Object of Obsession on Claudette and...

killers stopped tunneling me. All night, nearly every single game the killer left me alone. Even during end game and when they had NoED.

Okay seriously guys #########? Can someone explain why? I get tunneled more for being a Beach Bum Claudette with no OOO but when I put in on the killer just literally refuses to touch me.

I honestly didn't know what to do in matches. Being chased and tunneled off hook so much I just got used to practing running killers and trying to moonwalk and just being able to sit on gets with no interference was weird. A few killers had rancor and they wouldn't mori me.

Did I break the game and discover the ultimate blending technique by hiding in plain sight?

Hm, it depends how you play. If you play very aggressive and going for the killer all the time, he probably assumes that you are a great looper and you will just steal his time.

When i play a killer and someone with OoO wants my attention i also leave him alone. Just one survivor that is not doing anything...

I don't know why. I'm in a bit of a break from the game but as a killer main this would be my thought process.

If you make yourself TOO clearly bait, killers will avoid you. If you have an a perk that announces you-like OOO- and you're practiced at looping/ running and you're a claudette- the classic go to survivor choice in the past for people who knew meta tricks and utilized her prior immersive graphics- then killers will start to assume you're probably banking on making them chase you, probably so the rest of the team can gen rush.

The OOO can also give you a good idea as to when they simply give up chasing you and if they think you are SWF they only got two option: legit actual tunnel-consistently hook you and only you for the purpose of offing you as quickly as possible- knowing that like 3 gens will fly as you two loop for an unvoidable minute or two each chase.

or give up chase and try to make up the points for a win/brutal by avoiding you entirely and just trying to dodge OOO or negate it.

It's like clicking your flash light at the killer. 9 times out of 10 that actually makes the killer go "That's the guy who good at looping. Otherwise he wouldn't be so conifdent. So I'm going after the other guy"

Prior to object my playstyle is basically what you assume a David plays like. I’d take Self Heal botany med kits to take protective hits for people who were about to be downed in chases, give them time to escape, then do it again. Also I take head on. And I thought initially that might be it because I didn’t realize they could still see you in lockers with OoO so I’ve had killers just stand there and refuse to move after that.

I took it off because it seemed to BM but I’m still being left alone. I’ll even point at killers and they’ll just smack me then leave me alone :/

I think they might think I’m rarted.

Never have a good experience against people using OoO in high ranks. They're typically the most toxic group of people I've met so I'll avoid them. If I can't avoid them, I'll just hook them and stay close enough in the area to make sure they commit 'not alive'

If you see OoO on anyone it means one of two things: either 1:) that person is the easiest person to drop and kill or 2:) you're never going to frigging catch them because all they're going to do is run to infinites and loop you for eternity.

If you managed to dodge at least one attack fairly effectively, odds are the Killer viewed you as a number 2 and not worth the trouble you're going to bring them.

Do you sit on gens while looking at the killer with OoO? If the killer sees that you are NOT working, he can leave you alone.

In my experience, OoO user are toxic, and often good loopers. To go after them early is often a waste of time. But you can get the other survivors, and the OoO is nearly impossible to help, because you know where he is, too. Also, if he is the last survivor, there is no hidding from you, as it doesnt matter anymore how much time it takes to get him.

It's the power of OoO. Seeing most killers at all times breaks the game and everyone knows that.

People that run OoO are usually toxic af, in SWF, and probably god-tier loopers. I already know the match will be unfun once I see that.
