It's impossible to have a constructive conversation about Nurse. Apparently, the only people who have valid opinions are those who never play her, and the last people we should be listening to are the actual Nurse players. It's so frustrating.

She's the best killer in the game? Cool. Why doesn't anyone use her? It's genius really. The community has actually created a pyramid scheme of a killer in their minds. There are god Nurse players out there, surely, but nobody can seem to find one.

If anyone wants an honest take from someone who still plays her every day at rank 1, here it is: She's top tier, but equal to Spirit/Billy/Freddy. You're not going to have any better shot with her against top level survivors who truly know how to play against her than you would if you were equally good with Billy. But that's also map dependent, which for some reason people don't think matters at all for Nurse.

You're going to have to guess a lot with good survivors. There's an rng element to Nurse that isn't there with the other top tier killers whose counterplay doesn't revolve entirely around distance and LOS breaks. Throw 4 dead hards in and you're done. The cooldown introduced an element of inefficiency to her which makes it hard to keep up with objective efficient survivors.

Obviously, four W gamers are still going to get wrecked. Which is why adding a cooldown was flawed in the first place. It only helped the survivors who already knew the counterplay begin with. They never needed a cooldown to juke her and giving them one now means only super experienced Nurses stand a chance against 4 good survivors. The skill curve is arguably too steep now.

ANY killer can do that. Especially Billys. It depends on how boosted the survivors are. Yes even in the case of Nurse.

since the rework, i haven't lost to a nurse unless it was because I was playing like an idiot like healing at the exit gates; anyone can be OP if they end the game in a minute, I once did that WITH CLOWN; in conclusion Clown is as OP as Nurse

This just reminds me of the legion rework. Except that you need skill to play now while m1ing but the power in itself just got destroyed. Just limitations over limitations, i feel your pain.

Well, the cooldown is a straight nerf as her blinks/min determine both her map pressure and chase potential. Afterall, she gotta "spam" blinks for basic movement.

(For nurse, adding/increased cooldown is comparable to forcing survivors to crouch for 2 second for every 20m they run. Lol)

For nurse to turn visible before she can attack already increased her counterplay.
