Killer tierlist.

What is it now? Who are the best now, since a lot has changed since when I used to play, apparently Doc is meta, Deathslinger looks strong and Huntress seems popular. I'm assuming the top 4 are still Nurse, Spirit, Hag and Billy though, right? Then maybe Freddy? But Doc looks really strong too, so can someone tell me what it is now?

God Nurse with certain add-ons and no mistakes will swipe any team. So technically she's still kinda the best at killing but she definitely not the best killer to have fun with unless you like looking at the ground for some reason. Her skill level is so high and her punishment for mistakes is so cruel now most people will be worried about your sanity if you decide to main her. So I'd say she's the "Nurse" tier because good luck with playing her against people who are aware of her weaknesses and good at dodging your attacks. You may win. You can learn her gameplay and you can be flawless. But at what cost?

The "S" tier stands for the "S"pirit. Fun to play as, you don't have to be looped, like, ever. Sane skill requirement, you don't just jump in and become good against survivors with brains, so you have a good time learning while not suffering from these rank 16 teabagging because "te-hee, noob killer". Mostly really good add-ons, you don't even need ones against basic survivor teams! (But don't become overconfident and better bring them against red rank teams because despite everything on huge maps generators get done is seconds.) Great design, interesting lore, cool cosmetics, good perks, an easy adept achievement. The mobility and the ability to quickly end chases are insanely good if played correctly. Even against strongest teams you can always get at least a tie.

The "A" tier killers. The Hillbilly can be looped but his crazy mobility probably covers it up. If your team ducks up, then it ducks up for good against him because of his ability to one-shot with the chainsaw. The Doc has great ability to find people and a good methods of catching them at loops but his mobility is suffering. But anti-stealth kit saves a lot of time so he's good. Freddy is overall great, good mobility power, good anti-looping set which strongly shortens the time you waste at jungle gyms.

The Huntress is too slow for putting pressure, same for the Deathslinger. In average player's hands they are B tier. If you're good at sniping, maybe you can get an A- on them. The Hag... God Hags exist but it's all over if a survivors team won't let you put your "web". So a solid B.

So Hag's dropped in tiers? Weird, I almost never lost with her back when I used to be really good with her (I knew her inside out and was able to beat anything aside from SWF of course). Freddy and Doc have rose which is really nice!

Yeah, that's similar to what I would've thought, except I'd have Hag before Billy and Doc before Oni. Also I'd have Plague before Huntress.

The variety of killers in the game now is amazing though!

    Tier List (PC Version)

Of course like any other iter list this list is very relative. I also dont consider how much fun and how much time it takes until someone will master a killer.

Maybe Nurse even 1 tier higher, but that is debatable.

Well, I would say there isn't a certain "best killer" anymore because despite some people still swearing to God that Nurse is still by far the best, the truth is, she's so annoying to play and Dedicated Servers messed her up so bad with tons of bugs, that if you get a map like Hawkins, you're honestly better playing Wraith over her.

Nurse, Spirit, Billy and Freddy are for the most part considered to be top 4 and which one of them is the best honestly depends on the map, RNG, your skill and build, survivors skill and builds, etc.

Just because she is annoying or unfun to play or that there are bugs in the game wont make her a weaker killer.

Also it is not true that Wraith is neccessary better in indoor maps. It depends on how good the Nurse is, still. The point of a Tier list like this is that we assume the person who plays the killer is extremly good (or even perfect) with him/her.

Nurse, Spirit, Billy in some order

Freddy, Oni, Plague, Doc, Hag, Huntress in some order

Myers, Demo, Deathslinger, Ghostface, Pig in some order

Trapper, Legion, Leatherface, Clown, Wraith in some order

The tiers are how much upside or potential a killer consistently has. The order within the tier comes down to individual skill with the killer. I think people split hairs too much with tier lists.

Crap I knew I would forget one killer. The tier list template I used had like every killer twice or three times as an option.

For the record, I think Demogorgon is either top B tier or bottom A tier.

Unbeatable killers (if played well)? Nurse, Spirit.

Almost unbeatable or add-on dependent? Billy, Huntress, Deathslinger, Ghostface, Oni, Plague, Doctor.

    Easy and strong? Freddy.

    Everyone else? Situational at best.

But the problem with tier lists is that there are a lot of overrated and underrated killers that people put higher/lower than they deserve simply because they are easy/difficult to play. For example, lots of people think Freddy is top-tier and Myers is very decent, but in reality they both get ######### on as bad as Clown against good survivors. This is because they are M1 killers at heart and are forced to use that playstyle. Throw a pallet, they get screwed. Even Freddy.

Conversely, Ghostface and Plague can absolutely destroy even the best teams, but they are extremely difficult to play well (and get robbed by dedicated servers). Then there's the fact that builds often don't get taken into account, which means Wraith gets ignored often even though he's one of the strongest killers just by using Hit-And-Run style. Even Leatherface is disgusting with Nemesis/PWYF. About as strong as Freddy, and similarly as easy.

How well do they end chases and create map pressure

apply that question to a killer and you have your tier list

Where's Hag come in that? 4th or High? I'm just curious as to how she's perceived by the community.

Bugs are definitely making her weaker, especially when they aren't fixed for months.

I already said I assume players skill in my tier list. But I also assume other factors as well. I truly believe there isn't a certain "by far the best killer in the game" anymore.

1 Nurse, not the most consistent killer, for sure the most stressful killer, but also one of the most rewarding and probably still the best, it's not all about the skills, it's about the maps, the survivors and the second chances(dead hard). She is also buggy af.. High skill cap, low rewarding if you miss some blinks, high rewarding, if you play perfectly(but who does?)

2 Spirit, weaker version of the nurse, but much easier to play, just play your sound at max and use stridor to counter iron will. Medium skillcap, high rewarding

3 Billy Too strong with some add ons, really balanced without them..high skill cap killer, low skill floor, high rewarding

4 Demo the most underrated killer, weaker version of hillbilly, but he has a much stronger antiloop power, people say he is weak, because they are bad/don't play him enough, with the right build or with the right add ons. High skillcap, high rewarding,

5 Oni, basic killer, but once you get your power you can end the game in 1 minute, easily the second strongest power in the game.. but he can be looped if surivors play safe, otherwise he'd be higher. Low skillcap, high rewarding

6 Huntress well if you are really skilled with Huntress i think she deserves this spot. maybe also higher.. she get ######### my maps tho High skillcap, High rewarding.

7 Freddy, one of the easiest killer to play, and of of the most frustrating killer to play against, can't be looped, you just need to play safe, but he can bloodlust while spamming traps..gen teleport but with pop.. braindead, low skillcap, high rewarding

8 Hag, strong killer, but can be exploited by flashlights, swf by breaking traps while picking up other surv, bad gen set up.. Low skillcap, ?? rewarding

9 Deathslinger, almost no counter during chases, you just need to drop pallets early and gain distance.. Medium skillcap, High rewarding

I think this is a reasonable tier list, i played pretty much all these killers for long time(ofc except oni and deathslinger) so i know what i'm talking about, and learnt pretty much everything about them.

A good Hag can end the game within minutes of the game starting. Ya it may take her time to set up, but I've seen experienced Hag's dominate and overwhelm the survivors after getting the first down on a level that would make Hillbilly jealous.

Myers and Oni don't have near the same level of potential as Hag or Huntress. Sad part is Myers is more mid tier to lower mid tier than High Tier. Least Oni would be High Mid Tier to Low High Tier.

Overall if you compairing Oni, Huntress, and Hag to Myers than your probably not playing with/against those killers well or facing god tier Myers every game. I highly doubt that the latter is something that happens every game or anywhere near that.

    My opinion.

Huntress, Freddy, Oni and Hag are all about the same imo when played to their best and if the map's right

I legit picked her up in 2 days (but after watching tons of vids on her) and did extremely well at R1 for months... Some can pick her up easily, it's all about knowing when to do something and when not to. I know all about how good she is, which is why I'm surprised why she's being ranked lower than Billy.

My list looks something like this.

Nurse and Spirit are clearly better than the rest.

I know I have a lot in A tier but they’re all really good killers that can win against MOST teams.

Hag, Freddy, and Billy are interchangeable but to me Hag is the best of the trio. Oni is next. Deathslinger is better than Huntress even though most people won’t agree. Plague is a VERY underrated killer that is deserving of A tier, she is just the weakest of the bunch.

Doctor is close to A tier.

I wouldn’t argue anyone putting Hag, Billy, or Freddy at the #3 spot. They’re all pretty interchangeable. I would even say Huntress Or Oni are better than Freddy in some scenarios.

It’s just that Freddy more reliable and less nap dependent than Billy and can reverse bloodlust pallets with his snares, has semi-stealth with his oblivious status effect, can slow the game down tremendously by just existing, teleport to gens and kick it with PGTW within the matter of seconds after hooking someone, and ignore Borrowed Time. He’s got a lot going for him just in his base-kit.

Surprised Pig is always so low on the list. Sure her ambush dash is garbage and is rarely worth activating but she can slow the game to a crawl pretty easily especially with addons. Those traps can land kills surprisingly often especially against cocky survivors with a bit of personal interference. The occasional jumpscare with stealth can cut off half of the chase as well with easy hits. Shame to see her so low so consistently when she transformed the game so much for me when I picked her up.
