Tutorial is so incomplete!

The killer is taught how to camp.
You see dwight entering a locker.
That survivor AI next to the gen waits for you to repair the gen.Tutorial sums it up really well, the only part that is missing is the braindead part where you run in circles

The tutorial includes loding screen tips: the first (5?) times you face a killer you receive specific tips against them, including how to counter Hag's traps.

Yeah, you're supposed to figure stuff out.
And if you can't, read tooltips.
Or go to the official wiki.2 -
What the tutorials are missing:
Killer:
- Movement tips on how to efficiently loop and quickly catch up to survivors.
- Guide to defending Hex totems.
- A guide on camping (when you should and when you shouldn't)
- An in-depth guide to bloodstains and how to use them to track.
- A better demonstration on how scratch marks work.
- A basic power demonstration for each killer (You chase someone into a trap, hatchet aim, etc.)
Survivor:
- Guide on Hex totems and cleansing them (Tell survivors about Hex: Ruin in the tutorial)
- Give a movement tutorial to clearly demonstrate the pros of cons of all movement methods.
- During the skill check lesson, enable having the killer approach and search the generator if the player fails a skill check. (At the very least play the TR for a few seconds)
- An event where the survivor must unhook directly in front of the killer and then be caught to demonstrate why unsafe hook saves are bad.
- Demonstration on how splitting up to repair separate generators is more efficient whereas grouping up is faster.
- A section where the survivor must open 5 scripted chests to find a "Map" (Green), a "Flashlight" (Yellow), a "Toolbox" (Yellow), a "Firecracker" (Brown", and a "Skeleton Key", (Pink). Then teach each survivor how to use the map and key's aura abilities, where to aim the flashlight, how the toolbox speed boost works, how to use the firecracker, and how to use the key to open the hatch.
Both:
- Have a brief lesson where the killer can see their "Red Stain" and the survivor can see the scratch marks from running.
- Provide some insight into unlocking and equipping items from the bloodweb.
- Explain how to unlock teachable perks with more detail than "Available in x character's bloodweb at level y."

exactly bro, I find this info so vital!

amen, and many more...

It teaches you the basics and enough to play the game. You should learn the more advanced stuff "crouching over hag traps or flash-lighting them, or grabbing injured survivors" in game while you play.
Not to mention the loading screen gives tips vs the killers when you first face them.
The tutorial is fine

The tutorial covers the basics. The stuff you mentioned is a little more advanced. Great info to know, no doubt, but you also don't want to overwhelm new players. These are people playing the game for the first time, they don't even know what the hag is yet.
Loading screen tips should fill in those blanks. They'll give you hints based on the killer you're playing against the first few times you face them.2 -
It just the basic stuff. I learned the most from twitch and youtube. But yes I wish they had more stuff in it. Like ai killers. Considering that a lot of characters are dlc so you can't really learn them unless you buy them or watch tutorial videos. Even developers said in one of their videos that they rely a lot more on streamer and tournament scene.

Very vital details missing:- you can destroy Hag's traps with flashlight or crackers
- catch conditions: only when injured vaulting, not injured when complete unhooking, in the hatch....
- avoid flashlight blindness looking up
- so many more
Tutorial are meant to give you a basic understanding of the mechanics not teach you tactics. You should learn while playing and adopt your own play-style.

That makes no sense and I wasn't even talking to you dude also I wanted the source for the info regarding the matter so there was actually some evidence to support the claim. Cheers for the throw away comment though very useful.
... you were talking to me
@Milo said: » show previous quotes They have to be injured. Except lockers and gens (which won't happen)
hmmmm are you sure? where's the source for this info?
After a while you noticed you can't be grabbed healthy when jumping a window or a pallet. Yet you can get grabbed from gen, hooks and lockers (EDIT) and hatch and will be put on a shoulder instantly.
(i could be wrong but i never grabbed healthy survivor)

That's 100% false you can only grab people from a window vault/pallet vault if they are injured. The only time you can grab a survivor without them being injured is off a totem, gen or from the hatch if they jump.
There is also the ability to grab and kill healthy survivor with one of Myer's add-ons but I wouldn't really count that.

I forgot about lockers until I read Milo's comment.

What exactly is "100% false" ? I was asking a question so I am confused about your response.
This is 100% false: "you can catch anyone vaulting they don't have to be injured." - Your ealier post

As main killer I tell devs: let us grab survs in every situation regardless if they are injured or healthy

Sorry I meant what the other person said about not needing to be injured. I quoted the wrong comment.
