X-Play Console/PC is here? Let the cheating begin.
When I took the survey about crossplay, I just assumed they had some for of anti-cheat. Seems like they don't.
So, watch Magic Nea. She can fly (second video, second 12 you can see her feet above the door), she can out run any killer and she can even heal herself. No way to turn crossplay off. This ######### needs to go fast or players will leave faster than you can speed vault.

This isn’t intended. They’re exploiting to enable cross play with consoles, on top of the other cheats they’re using. That’s why there’s no option to turn it off - it isn’t an official feature and people shouldn’t have access to it.

If they're using "cross play" they are cheating anyway because it isn't announced or available yet without exploiting something, I've only ever ran into hackers 4 times in my 4700 hours, I'm sure this'll be patched soon enough & eventually cross play will become a monitored system that's in place by BHVR, no in place by exploiters.

Cross Play is for Microsoft Store x Steam players, not anything else, yet.

I enjoy my console only gameplay because its so rare to meet cheaters. That's the main reason I'm not a fan of PC gaming in the first place.

I did. But does that actually do anything? She is rank 1. She must have been playing a while. Unless you can set ur rank with the cheat software.

There were three players with cross play icon today and one yesterday. I don't think they were all cheating. To me it seems like a test for crossplay pc/xbox. I don't know.

The devs haven’t made any official statement on this issue as far as I’m aware, so I suppose it could be a test. But considering how often this kind of exploit goes hand in hand with other cheats, I’m inclined to believe that most (if not all) of the crossplayers you’ve seen are just cheaters. Like I said, there’s no option to opt in or out of crossplay so it isn’t a live feature.

This nea probably got into a ps4 lobby without hacks. A streamer got put into one not to long ago.

They could've all be cheating. Maybe there is a new software that allows crossplay and not every one of them was using it so obviously.
For now I also created a ticket to provide the videos to the devs.
Either way. If this is the future of DBD on console, then I'll check out Friday the 13th again. Just kidding. I'm not that desperate. 🤣

Except that she was able to heal herself instantly and was way too fast. Also she has Legacy and a Hype-Shirt, this is such a rare combination that someone who has it would not hack, if they want to keep their Account.

Wow. Thats just crazy. I hate cheaters like that. Alot of people would say its good because as they a free escape and pip. But it not fun. You want to play the game and get better. Not get carried by a cheater.

with cheats you would double pip every game so even if cheats cant insta put your rank that high, you can reach it VERY fast

I haven't seen any blatantly obvious cheating in about 500 hours of play.
I've watched a lot of streams and content on YouTube over the past 2 years. Rarely seen any cheating there. Not many topics about cheaters in the Forums either. Doesn't seem to be a huge and widespread issue to me.

What I find worse than these obvious cheats and hacks are those that are not so obvious.
Did the killer see everyone? Did another survivour see the killer everywhere? This can really ruin the fun.

I believe in a world where we can all play together but yeah there is sometime cheating but I means I have 300 hours and I met once a cheater...so they are not all over the place.
Also don't you console players have super long queue? Because cross play would probably fix that.
And with the new MMR matchmaking eventually if all goes well you console players will be matched with similar MMR PC players not everyone is God like on PC.

I thought this was more of a constant issue on PC.
Yes, there are longer queue times. But I can wait if it means fair games.
If this is not a big issue on PC, then I don't mind crossplay.

The game and servers can support crossplay between PC and all 3 consoles. The devs just haven't enabled it on their end yet. Anyone on PC playing with console users are hackers enabling that settting for themselves, or doing it for others, unofficially.
Crossplay will most likely be announced officially at the upcoming Year 4 Anniversary Stream in early June.

Seriously it's almost not existant at least if it exists it's not obvious at all based on my experience for 300 hours and we had someone here with more hours saying they saw something like OP posted like 3-4 times, this game has an anti-cheat system and its kinda working. Also f them hackers tho.

Exactly! It was such a stupid match. I would've understood had the killer disconnected. This ruins the fun for everyone. I don't even understand how this is fun for the player who uses the hack for more than once.

I personally don't know. But if you look at Monto's video there is a Claudette hacking in one of his videos and she doesn't take damage. She flew above a fence at one point.
