The corn really has to be dealt with

Getting a corn map while playing any short or stalker killer is an immediate bad time. Stalking doesnt work when they run through corn so no marking or evil within . I posted about it before but why not introduce a mechanic where running over tall grass and corn crushes it so its no longer there. At least when in chase the survivor cant stop and hide from the killer.

On a serious note, corn could no longer just be a dead zone for Survivors if you want to take away its only redeeming quality. Would have to give it something (especially since map size is shrinking next update).

Corn already got a nerf, and survivors don't like that all corn map either. You get a huntress or a deathslinger someone with range and there is no where to go. It used to be darker and have more color variant, you couldn't see a Claudette in there if you tried over her.

I really must be the odd one out for actually enjoying corn maps and their corn.

Corn is a very strong plant. You can't run over it. Even driving through iot mostly just pushes it to the side. Hiding in corn is pretty much a staple in horror flicks. Not that i feel all that safe in it, as a survivor. If you are in a chase, you can always follow the scratch marks.

Someone call up farmer John, people are trying to eat his corn!

Yeah corn maps are bad. The one that is 85% corn is extremely lazy map design, and corn is just weak sauce as a free get away from some killers.

I feel bad for the killers, especially cause I play Claudette. I can run in the corn with the killer chasing me and make a big turn and he will still think he’s chasing me but I’m in the opposite direction. It does need to be dealt with in serious matters cause I don’t even like it to.

Just play ghost face, he can stalk through anything. 😏

On a serious note, no thank you. I agree corn is a biatch as a killer, but if you could eliminate the corn, there would be several maps with huge open space, beyond the ridiculousness of usual dead space. Not all maps are meant to be optimal for every killer.

I don't mind the corn. I don't got an issue seeing through it. There's one corn map though that is just way too big and doing map pressure on it is hard unless you're nurse, billy or playing survivors that screw around instead of doing gens.

Then again though I also don't think the maps are too dark and they're honestly too damn bright for a 'horror' game.

While this actually sounds Reasonable in the sense that it’s a more realistic approach, It’s purpose is to break line of sight. That’s what survivors are supposed to do. Survivors should be given the opportunity to prevent evil within or ghost faces stalk ability. It already charges super quick unless you have infinite. Idk why you feel you deserve quick easy downs. Besides that’s the trade off running through corn is that survivors don’t have walls or vaults or pallets out there. You’re faster than them so what’s in it for the survivor? Sure farm gives an advantage to survivors unlike the other maps. But there are also some maps that seems more killer sided when it comes to silent killers like meat plant. jump scare Myers in particular. You gotta understand that balance is key. You can’t just have everything be in the killers favor. Survivors have to be able to break lines of sight. L

Exactly. Killer players complain about literally everything that doesn’t lead to easy downs. How would that be fair while you still hold on to your ebony Mori’s every game? That’s not fun for the individual playing survivor. 😡😡😡😡

This has been a topic for years and they haven't addressed it.

Dude, players like you are the reason other players can't have a civil discussion.

We're not jumping to extremes from one side to the other, we're talking about corn, we're not talking about keys or Moris.

Please calm down and do your best, even if it hurts, to stick to the topic.

Civil players - "Can we get a 1 charge buff to medkits please?"

You - "CAN WE GET RID OF KEYS THEN?!?!?!?!"

It's like we can't discuss the small issues that this game has because players like you start jumping to extremes and start asking for nerfs to moris or keys.

my earlier post is relative. The following is a relative response because he’s talking about what hasn’t been addressed. I simply came up with something that also hasn’t been addressed.

You sound angry though. Almost child like angry. You are being really aggressive about staying on topic. It only takes a few words to ask nicely rather than multiple paragraphs creating a whole example out of it to prove your point

I'm giving you examples on what I believe people like you are.

You're exactly like the person in my example because you're so reluctant to stay on topic.

No one was talking about Moris, absolutely no one and you jumped to an extreme. People don't want easy down, corn can be easily replaced by T-Walls and L-Walls. Pressing Crouch shouldn't grant you immunity to killers just because you decided to run to the corn for easy immersion.
