Looks like the anticheat is working...
Literally just a week before this he had faced another hacker (and in that video he had made links to 2 other people who had experienced this. And with all the hacks going around enabling crossplay as well. But no you can get banned if you change the color of your perk icons apparently instead lol. (i had heard this is a thing so im avoiding editing the colors of my perks until i get confirmation i wont be banned).

You can edit your perk colors, you can change game settings from files, you can even delete the intro video to load the game more quickly. BHVR says you shouldnt because they have not much control on the anticheat they use, if the anticheat detects that some important files are touched, you may get banned and they wont be able to do much about it. These things I listed are some of the okay things but you still should research guides or such to not mess up anything if you arent sure what you are doing.
Yeah the hacking has gotten bad recently, I hope they do something soon.

the devs have said they don't care about changing the pictures, or the colors of icons and portraits nor will they go after you if you do it. HOWEVER they have said that if EAC catches it, EAC might do something. Usually it says your files are not correct, you need to redownload. I personally haven't had this happen but it's happened. I have not seen a ban because of altered icons or portraits.

I was just watching this video. I think the hack is from outside the game, thats why i think EAC dont catch it, also i think there is a way to deactivate the EAC to start the game

In before the shills come in to say they dont see any hackers therefore none exist.
I said hacking had increased weeks ago, lo and behold the past week there has been a number of threads on the issue on this forum.
How many times do I have to be proven right?
Its increased since dc penalties came in. Could be coincidence but who knows. Either way there seems to be a lot of cheats out there getting past EAC quite easily. Silence from the developers so far.

People hacking in cosmetics, people hacking to be able to fly or become invincible, people overloading the servers to make certain matches unbearably laggy, people targeting streamers with that pop up thing they were doing, people able to see killer and perks and add ons in the pre-game lobby, people hacking to enable cross play...
They really need some help with securing their servers and improving the anticheat because this seems like the worst it’s ever been.

Of course it was. Survivors running through walls? No exhaustion? Turbo speed? Ability to unhook themselves? Instant healing? Not a problem.
Using hacks to avoid paying BHVR money? ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!
Resident Evil did the same thing. Hacks galore but xp boosters now encrypted.
Its a joke. Developers and publishers wonder why players give them such a hard time...

Actually you can still do it. You just need a bypass,eac is literally nothing special.
