We really need dedicated servers

Okay I should probably go and ask the question of how long has his game been going on now? At least two and a half years. I hate to say it before game like this we need dedicated servers to reduce lag and lag input.

I don't know am I that ######### for asking for dedicated servers to cut down on lag and to have faster matches?

It cost a lot of money to have dedicated servers.

And the devs are now earning extra money due to cosmetics store, so maybe in the future or they probably like what they have already so it could be never.

It may cost a lot of money but that didn't stop them from getting dedicated servers and a better cheat engine for the flop that was Deathgarden

It's not going to happen lol.. I believe they already said that in one of the dev streams a while back. It's been a hot topic for a long time though.

You forget that DbD was never designed with dedicated servers in mind. It might be hardcoded p2p.
Devs never specified on that regard. Also, even IF we get dedicated servers. There´s no guarantee that there would be servers near your location. Depending on the country, your lag could increase.
So careful what you wish for.

Forget, they better give money to deatngarden, where yesterday there was a peak online - 47 players, and survivors in their game let them play with lags, lag-switchers, undeserved hits through windows and pallets. The only way out is to play this game normally - to be a host, that is, to play for a killer. Perhaps someday, if there is a second part of the game, then they will think about dedicated servers, but for now, suffer and enjoy what is, if you play for the survivor.

If you play killer, then you'll also find lagging survivors that teleport like a nurse.

While I know dedicated servers are expensive it really would be great.

Just stops me getting a lag spike just before I see someone downed and my brain has to start thinking "Lag switch?"

It's a peace of mind thing for me. Also knowing that if I'm killer I don't have to worry about my internet going wacky and and gimping everyone else in the game.

Yeah what they can do is take the money they need to pay for the rights of Dead By Daylight to get dedicated servers. All the monies they make from the cosmetic store can goto those servers.... Yeah... but then there is this huge bill for the next few years from the previous publisher....

Or... What they could do is scrap Death Garden, cut their loses and use those servers.
