Give us perk roulette in game
Give us a "randomize loadout" button that will randomize our item and addons, our perks, and our offering!

All these years and I never even considered “What if this was an in game feature?” Lol

You can literally type "Dbd perk roulette" and you will get it. But usually what happens is rolling the perks over and over till you get the good ones.

They could give increased BP or xp for using this feature make it lock in

Could be cheesed. You could prestige to get a perk reset, get lucky (or I'm sure find a manipulative way) to earn a few good perks, roulette the small amount of good perks and basically play with normal meta builds while getting a BP boost.
I'm also a pessimist.

Yes. The idea also comes to lodge in my mind, and it seems indeed an opportunity to encourage diversity by the lure of additional BP (and why not XP).
Regarding survivors, there are currently 1,353,275 unique perk builds possible. 864 501 for the killers. It’s pretty exciting.
Abuse can be perfectly prevented.
- a limited number of uses with tokens that are spent and recovered over time (very much limits use) or after completing a game using Roulette. Very basic. This simply prevents you from relaunching indefinitely to choose your build.
- to prevent manipulation with the Prestige system: it is possible to calculate the bonus according to the number of perks that the survivor or killer has. If you only have 4 perks: x1, otherwise it increases proportionally.

TBH I'd like it as a game mode. Similar to how Overwatch has their Arcade or whatever they called it, with special modes (some rotating).

I like it :D

nono, we need people like you. It's the lack of people like you that lead to SWF.

Yeah, because everyone’s first few perks from level 1-10 are always DS, Unbreakable, Adrenaline...

Give us a killer who's special attack "perk roulettes" a random perk slot on the survivor. Take 4 hits and you may end up with a completely different loadout than what you started with!

A random option would be interesting, but I think I'd rather be able to preset loadouts for different characters that I could change at a moment's notice in the lobby.

I could imagine this as a game mode. You don’t have a load out tab so you don’t know what you have until you load in and it can’t be cheesed with prestige because it gives everyone access to every perk and item and all that

The point isn't that your first perks are X,Y,Z (as I mentioned luck or who knows whatever manipulation people will find) but that you could re-roll several times until you get such a perk loadout.
Take a look at one of gaming biggest communities, speed-running. The whole point of speed-runners is to find the fastest way to reach the goal (be it 100% completion or simply finishing main missions/story) by any means necessary (unless otherwise listed). Many of these speed-runner find and exploit every little thing in the game, many of which are posted for others to build upon and replicate.
My point with the speed-running community is that people are always trying to find the fastest way to complete goals and if a system that rewarded BP with a roulette existed it really wouldn't take long for like minded people to find the work around.
I'm not against the idea of a roulette, in fact I'd love a random option for loadouts, but if there is an extra reward added to this feature it will be exploited without a doubt.

it's like your gambling but worse, but maybe it could be a character but it gives you any perk from any character, any offering, and any item with any perk, and each rank has a percentage for it to be on your load out.

If they made a roulette perk mode I'd play the hell out of it. Especially if it included perks that I don't have unlocked yet, so sometimes it throws you a perk you aren't familiar with and you'll have to roll with it!
Maybe intentionally prevent the system from giving you counterproductive perks (Like No Mither and Self-Care)
This would be a hilarious mix-up for casual players and a very upsetting mechanic for competitive players. Like I'd have 10x more fun as a survivor but I could see a lot of people getting mad over it.
