Welcome to the Temple of Purgation, 30 Second gen.

Welcome to DBD home of the infamous tunneling and camping strategies where killers complain about gen speed but donβt want to leave hooks π
20 -
It is just 1 gen with 4 people. Imagine running around for around 60 seconds and then popping 3 gens. That would be much worse, but still doable. Just chill.
14 -
I just try to keep them off the gens nearest the temple and force them to do the ones further away from the temple.
4 -
Technically that was almost 40 seconds. But look, you had plenty of time to check about half the gens before that happened. It was just the wrong half. How would it be fair if you could check all gens before 4 people could finish 1 gen? Sad thing is, your legion and youβre not even using DISCORDANCE ππππππ thatβs a fail on your end
11 -
Please explain what this comment has to do with the post, since it is only valid if the killer is tunelling and camping which is impossible to do without initiating a chase or hitting a survivor
16 -
Hey man sometimes the person on that hook needs some company before the entity takes them. π€£
5 -
That's pretty normal. Sucks, but it's normal. Killer has to rely on snowballing only these days.
4 -
That is what smart people do. They plan what gen have to be done and which are good to defend. That's called strategy. Most of killers doesn't know things like that.
0 -
It has everything to do with the topic of gen speed π that is what she is complaining about yes?
0 -
No, it really doesn't. And this particular topic is about a generator popping 30 seconds into the match. Please, in great detail, show where exactly this killer hard tunelled and facecamped, thus making your comment somewhat valid.
12 -
That's not the issue being discussed here. Discordance would've helped here but it's not a perk you seen ran often because as far as gen perks go in 2020 it's one of the worst, especially on a killer with no mobility like Legion. At the start of the match because of where they spawned they essentially had to make a 50/50 guess on where all the survivors spawned. They guessed wrong and lost a gen for it. How is that ok? This should never even have a chance to happen on any map and on temple and mother's dwelling it happens all the time. You might as well start the game with 3 gens remaining unless you're Billy, Nurse or Spirit.
4 -
maybe discordance would have helped in this situation. There you go, issue resolved. I have no sympathy for killers π
0 -
Well, the next patch will help with this which is nice. Although, i'd actually prefer this type of scenario where they're all on one gen rather than splitting up and doing them.
3 -
People want to bring in ebony Moriβs, face camp, tunnel. And there you complain about a gen being popped 30 seconds into the match when you could have brought in discordance and prevented it.
0 -
quite literally nothing.
he's just begging for attention, just dont mind him.
there are still a ton of people here who actually want to have a serious discussion, focus on them instead.
3 -
I'm trying to get him to talk himself.into a corner and admit to the world his opinion is invalid based entirely on a lack of understanding
2 -
Sweetie a little newsflash for you: Not every killer plays like that. Some killers want just fun. With your logic we could say, you could prevent moris by not getting hooked. :wesmart:
9 -
Please explain your logic, I would enjoy hearing how Discordance helps in a game where the generators pop before you have time to get there because of the limitations of movement speed
3 -
why are you being hostile towards me for staying on topic? My comments relevance lies in the first two words of the original post βwelcome toβ I just made a variant of it π
0 -
After going to shack you spent about 10-15 seconds checking an area with no gens and then walking back to where you spawned..In the mean time there were 4 survivors who had nothing else to do but to sit on a gen. Pay attention to common survivor spawns. IThe rule of thumb is that they generally spawn around the 2nd/3rd farthest gens on the map. On some maps e.g. azaroffs resting place/suffocation pit 1 survivor usually spawns on your side of the map so you have a choice to look for them or pressure the other 3.
3 -
As a killer You absolutely donβt have limited movement speed π first of all that factor depends mostly on map size which most are small-medium. And theyβre getting shrunk even more in the future. There are a few killers I feel need compensation for their lack of potential but most seem pretty much just fine. You got plenty of high mobility killers like spirit, billy, oni, op fast cloaked wraiths with fast uncloaks abilities π whatever man ....I canβt argue with you about the obvious.
discordance helps plenty what are you talking about. The killer could have broken that up before it finished in 30 seconds π
1 -
That's probably the attitude that made tunneling and camping such a big deal.
8 -
I fully accept that if I turned right around the temple that gen would not have been done. It was a 4-man SWF and at least 3 of them spawned together next to that gen. I can post up the full game so everyone can see my mistakes and my cruel tunneling, camping, and moriing.
0 -
as long as people stop complaining about gen speed even at the beginning of the match when they should know that they do have the ability to do something about it
0 -
Killers get rewarded perfectly fine for their efforts. Way better than survivors. After comparing my experience on both sides Itβs not fun either way you look at it. Because going in solo on either side of the table has never felt fair. π
1 -
While I absolutely think survivors shouldn't all spawn right on top of a generator and should have to walk a decent distance to one, you absolutely could have saved this generator by being smarter. You spent pretty much half the generator's completion timer looking around shack when there was absolutely no sign of anyone being there. Had you just gotten slightly in range of shack to listen for a generator and doubled back the the next gen, you would have found all four of them on it and had an extremely good Frenzy going.
3 -
Then bring ds, bt and throw your ######### pebble at the killer to stop him from morying you.
2 -
This happens oftentimes when dealing with swf, tbh there is nothing you could have done. Even if you weren't to waste those 8-10 seconds around the shack the outcome would have been the same. Tbf when this happens, as suggested above, try and push them towards the sides of the map to have a 3 gen set up. Best thing would do, when you spawn, in the first run around the map, to kind of plan where you would want to end up with the 3 gens.
1 -
Why can't killers spawn next to their objective just like multiple survivors spawn next to a gen?
Can some survivors spawn next to a killer so that they can also get a head start into their objective like in this video?
But anyways, tomorrow it patch day, and they've made Temple much, much smaller.
2 -
The full game, the fast first gen didn't really reflect the entire match.
2 -
I'm curious; why did you post the original clip if the full game ended so far in your favor?
Heck, that 30 second gen was the ONLY gen that got done and you could have easily won the game at the 4 minute mark if you'd really wanted to sweat.
3 -
Maybe I need to get new glasses, but I didn't see any camping or tunneling in that clip. Mind enlightening us as to how this Legion could've prevented a gen from popping? Even if they KNEW where the gen was, it would've been done by the time they arrived.
2 -
Because losing a gen in the first 30 seconds is unfun and not interactive (to use the secret code that devs respond to). I'm optimistic that the next changes will help stop this from happening so often, we'll see.
8 -
Gotcha.
Hopefully. We'll see tomorrow.
1 -
Wow. They definitely used brand new parts.
Rip killers 2020 - gen rushing

I noticed you're very pro survival based, which is fine, but like I see alot of posts from you where you'll go out of your way to mock anything that relates to killer issues. you'll always demonize it or underplay it as a way to support pro survival propaganda and always use the spoiled survival argument of "killers tunnel and camp" with no real argument to add. Just my observation.
1 -
Well played. At least you get survivors comparable to you in rank. I'm rank 13, and get red, and purple ranks ( all 4 survivors ) at least 6 out of 10 matches. I do have matches that are relatively even in rank and skill, but not as often as I would like. It's frustrating for me personally to have to try so hard to salvage a decent match as killer, when I can effortlessly have good matches as survivor..

You have no gen pressure perks, your build relies on running into people which as a legion isn't smart. Plus you were going to the far out gens. This comes down to game sense not game design.
0 -
Its funny To read all the message from people who complain about it π its clearly a bunch of baby killer the same who camp and tunnel
Its so eazy to play killer and kill every one
Stop crying push your skill up take trust in you and find some self esteem
And if you are not able to do i... its because that game is too hard for you
Go play sims or roblox thats it

This is normal when you are killer your game start when 2 gen are gone at this point its only a matter if you can snowball fast enough. But they will always make it to those god loop and this map is big and full of god loop XD
0 -
If those were competent Survivors that didn't have a nerd raging DC'er, that match would have turned out much differently.

I'm 99% sure he is a Master Baiter, best to pass his comment when you see his user name.
2 -
that wasn't what the post was about friendo.

God not only are you an idiot youre an ass gen speed is a problem so is camping either way if someone has an issue with the game well everyone's issue is validated because its backed by multiple people even the devs say camping and tunneling are viable strats and they nerfed gen speed so that shows that you're anger or saltiness is directed falsely either way no gen should be that fast but I do agree with you that was all 4 people or a little less so thats not even a big deal although regular gen speeds are and before you call me out for being killer biased I remained surv for hundreds of hours before I do killer and plus I main both at high rank so just to show im not a biased guy
0 -
Bs I killes one person and 3 got away at rank 8 but I hooked them all until death hook maybe missing one and closed hatch kicked gens and still de pipped I did fine for playing billy on shelter woods but I wasnt even granted a black pip
0 -
Survivors always complain about being tunneled and facecamped maybe BT and Decisive would have helped in those situations. There you go, issue resolved. I have no sympathy for survivors π
6 -
I agree, once their swf ran into my knife they lost all coordination. DC was likely a crash and then another hooked themselves out of the match. Feng was the best player but with a Bill that didn't know how Legion worked as company it was over.
1 -
No matter what she couldnt have saved it the others would finish it and it would have only prolonged the inevitable i watched half her match there was a pointless dc and the surv were idiots so no doubt she wiped the floor with them Tbh she(im assuming based in her female picture) shouldn't complain since she won anyways but what you say definitely has merit

It sounds like you are saying that killers should be able to get 4 kills without a single gen popping. How would that even be remotely fair for every game to be expected to play out that way? In this clip we have 1, just 1 gen popping quickly which tells the killer several things. 1, the survivors spawned in that side of the map because they weren't on the side the killer checked. 2, they focused on that gen with multiple survivors stacking on it. Judging by the speed it would have been 3 or 4 survivors on it depending on how close they spawned next to it. That is a clear indication of where to go to start chasing the survivors without having to waste anymore time searching the corner the killer is in. Who really cares if the survivors popped 1 gen? The killer now knows where they ALL are. That could be the only one they get done the whole match now. This clip doesn't demonstrate any form of actual inherent problem in the game it only demonstrates an entitled killer trying to complain about how they couldn't be allowed to totally dominate in a single match on account of the survivors spawning close together on the opposite side of a map from the killer. People like this need to relax and realize it's just a game and it wont always go exactly the way you want it to.

π I won't lie won't be the first time some wee gobsh** has taunted and looped me and been so cocky that when I hooked them I didn't stand around to 'explain' the error of their ways...π
