Why is Anti-Aliasing being Forced?

I'm going to go into a lot of detail here.

For the first 3 years this game was out, the only way to disable anti-aliasing was to play on low. That was fine for me, because whenever I would play on anything higher the game was so god-awful blurry, it would make the game look horrendous, plus it hurt my eyes and gave me headaches.

A few patches ago, they forced Anti-Aliasing even on low settings, so we would have a copy/paste we could put in the engine.ini file to disable it. When Chains of Hate was released, they made that copy/paste null, so we discovered another one. Now in todays patched, they again made that null.

So, coming from a player with almost 3k hours, who's played your game since launch day, and even in beta, WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO FORCE US TO USE ANTI-ALIASING. Can a dev PLEASE explain to my why you're so adamant to force us to use anti-aliasing?

Please, give us the option to disable anti-aliasing. The game look so god-awful and blurry with it on. I tried playing a game with it on and it made my eyes water and hurt, and gave me a headache. There is a reason why almost all games today give us EXTENSIVE graphics options, with one of them being the ability to disable anti-aliasing.

Please, I'm begging you guys. I really don't want to uninstall this game because of something so easily fixable, but I seriously can't play with this on.

They disabled the engine.ini file entirely because people were using it to gain other advantages. It is time to add an option for anti aliasing ingame but they probably won't.

It's really hilarious, there are so many posts about antialiasing on the front page right now and they will probably not answer any of them.

This game needs a proper graphic options menu. Having to mess with .ini files to change basic stuff like resolution and antialiasing is terribly user-unfriendly and shouldn't be a thing in 2020.

i'm in the same boat here. after spending 1000 of hours in this game, i have to uninstall it , if they don't give us the option to turn this blurry vision off..... otherwise i will lose my eyes for sure. very embarassing of the devs in my opinion

i could only play this game, because we could change the anti aliasing in the engine.ini file.
