I doubt it will be, too. Usually, they close the PTB a week after it opens, but they waited a week and a few days to close it, so I wouldn't be surprised if it released a few days after the 11th.Iceman said:

They didn't announce date on stream, in fact made a point of saying they weren't. I would therefore doubt it would be Tuesday.3

What i´m more worried about is, that they planned a double BP event before the summer ends. Which is in 2 weeks. I hope they don´t do another Freddy release. Where we get the new killer the same weekend as the double BP event and the free weekend.

I'd be more inclined to say the Thursday the13th which is usually when they do it on Thursday or the same day Sony/Xbox do their weekly updates.

On wiki says the DLC will be launched on September 11th, not confirmed. Devs like to be quiet and hold us in suspense.

The devs are in Canada, so I don't think 9/11 means the same thing to them. That said, I don't think it's gonna be on Tuesday because with the clown, they announced the release date on the Friday right before. They didn't announce anything yesterday and now it's the weekend, and I doubt they'd make an announcement last minute on Monday for a Tuesday release. But what do I know.

Nah, it's not unusual for games to release on that date. Plenty of developers will release stuff then.
Though the September 11th date is not confirmed, it is purely a rumor at this point. I wouldn't book time off work for it until you know for sure.

What marketing though ? They seem to just drop new stuff and the last time I think the actual trailer came after the Clown was released..... It just seems weird to wait that long to tell people about new stuff.

As I said PS4 usually does their updates on what Thursday or Friday so wouldn't that mean that'd be the date it comes out? Since they're trying to get stuff out on all platforms at the same time now that store is in place.

Wow. I mean, I’m all for releasing stuff on 9/11, but for those of you saying “it was soooo long ago, who cares?”, try telling that to people who lost a loved one that day. Not the same as the Titanic (which someone also said) which was 106 years ago. Much different than 17. Can we try not to be insensitive about that part?
And, again, I don’t mind it being a release date. But don’t act like everyone is over it or it wasn’t a big deal. That’s just callous.
