Saloon map is not fixed!
I just played a game in the new slightly tweaked Saloon map (Death slinger map). I can safely say from my painful experience as a killer that the main saloon is not fixed, people can still 100% run the infinite window loop around just as easy as before, even when I had all the doors kicked open.

Umm what?.. How can they run an infinite if its been blocked off completely?

That's just one variation of the Saloon, my experience was different from yours. There are still variations that are broken, it seems.

Then you should post screenshots!

Relax, not everyone in this game are a streamer or recording every bit of their experience. I can take some screenshots next time I play on the map and post it here if this thread is still relevant at that point.

what the f is this? A room with a window and 3 (!) breakable walls? Whats the point of breaking them and increasing the loop strenght? Thought this was supposed to work the other way round: loops get unsafe when doors are broken.
Straight up a death trap if you vault the window.

not everyone in this game are a streamer or recording every bit of their experience.That's... not what i exactly meant. Just a screenshot would help your point.

The only function I can see this room having is if you have DS/Head on and get in the locker.. you should be able to stun the killer and vault back out before they have time to see what direction you went.

That's actually pretty good point, didn't even think about that, lol!

I can't believe it, it actually worked. I didn't break the doors this time and I got a survivor trapped in that room. I even had the bamboozle perk, so techincally if I wanted, I could have kept her there the entire game with no way out of the game other than dc. I wonder if the devs did this on purpose, a little payback for all those infinite window loop abusers ;)

Well there are more places like this (Saw map then that small room with 1 gen and only 1 door) But that is considered griefing because like you said the survivor cant do anything other than dc'ing. This is in fact banable... I think😅

Of course I understand that it is banable offense, but my point was, it is hilarious that the game allows you to do something like this due to bad level design ^^

The other 3 survivors would escape after doing gens and then if you trapped a survivor in the room, you would get a ban for holding the game hostage.

That was the infinite of the saloon? I always thought it was:
Go inside bottom floor
Run up the stairs and fast vault the window
Run to the right and run down the stairs
Turn right into a door way and run Into the middle room
Then vault the window near the piano
This could be easily counted breaking the wall near the top of the stairs, so I wouldn't run it that much and if I did I never got caught. so I would use it once to gain distance and find a new area cause as a killer main I find infinites annoying af.

I've been saying it's a survivor sided map since day 1. The god loops, the god bushes, you name it. This map has it all.

Yes, that's my observation as well. Breaking the walls doesn't necessarily weaken the loop. In some instances, the loop gets stronger. Instead of the killer using the doors to get to the other side of the window quicker, the survivor has like 4 different directions they can go and unless the killer is a master tracker with the scratch marks, you'd just have to guess where they went. It also doesn't help that the scratch marks lie and lead you directions that the survivor didn't go. Happens to me all the time.

The map designers don't understand the game enough to not make stuff like this possible it seems they just get told in advance what is needed to make the level and just do whatever and then fix it later cause they have no understanding of how tiles are run or what players are capable of. They are always terrible at designing structures from what i've seen and like the look of the place without thinking about how it plays out.

I have begun to think the same thing recently.
