Never done it as a killer cause there's no fun on doing that.
As a survivor, at first i found it annoying when i got camped, but now i just take it easy and use that time to get some more whisky. It's still a cheap way to secure the kill though.0 -
There are certain justifications to camping. The only situation I find myself camping is if survivors are holding the game hostage (i.e. open exit gates and won't leave). If you refuse to leave, I am going to make you leave one way or another. Since you want to stay so bad, you can stay on this hook.

What I don't understand is when people rush hooked players and expect the killer to leave? I'm looking for more players to hook, they expect you to leave the hooked to go find other players who are not right in front of you?
Other day I literally had a hooked survivor + last three gens and the hatch all within a small radius. And was flamed for 'camping' when I hit one survivor on a gen, grab another trying to unhook and put the other in the basement. Be smart people, don't expect killers to play stupid or do stupid things so you all everyone can escape.

It depends for me. End game is fair game. It doesn't take very long to open exit gates and I can't likely guard both. But I can take you far away from the gates and wait for your rescuers. Also if you pull some one off the hook like 3 seconds after I hooked them it's not camping. I don't even see it as tunneling. Use your heads. I also don't early game camp. I prefer your friends don't get a bunch of gens up while I sit and do nothing. Plus it's boring watching you exercise. lol

This is why I run Deja Vu to try to ensure this very thing doesn't happen. Had a match where there were 2 generators with pretty much a wall between them, they were so close. I was determined to not let the killer "have" that corner in the end. I died in the match, but I at least repaired one of those generators, which was satisfying enough.

I first started as a survivor main, then went to killer for a little. I never really came across camping, but I decided to go insidious Myers (99% EW2, NOED) on everyone, thinking I would get to rank one. I now main survivor again and I'm very sorry to anyone I camped...

Not worth it unless end of game and exit gates are open.
I sometimes insidious leatherface when i am in the mood for it, but after once or twice it gets boring.
