Finally Deleted Dead By Daylight
On PS4.
I'm full PC now. PS4 is poorly optimized, queue times for survivor are hell and I'm not in the mood to wait 9 minutes for a queue just to get tunneled, moried, camped or killer DCs.
I honestly prefer PC, killer is also smoother on PC, it's not glitchy and buggy like on PS4.

Have fun getting tunneled, moried, camped, and having the killer dc except now with a chat window to mock you afterward? Oh and profile graffiti.
But at least it's smooth 60+ fps. Now you can see the glitches faster and in a crisper format.

Honestly console chat is worse than the chat window. I'm on xbox and the fact that people can message you before the game is even over or spam you with salty party invites while you're literally still in the same game they just died in is way more annoying than the chat window that you dont even have to look at.

I wouldn't mind getting camped, tunneled and moried with a 5 second queue time.
But when I switch to PS4, my time spent is not rewarding.
I don't mind getting my ass handed to me on PC and still pipping when I can just join again in a matter of seconds.

I turned off notifications long ago. Have a friend that likes to spam invites for half an hour straight. I do like getting into convos with salty people. I just give them the play by play of what I was doing. There's no escalation.
I just listed what other people complained about. That profile graffiti thing sounds like serious business. And queue times are just as bad? You'd think the world was ending from AA. Imagine the fallout when we get chromatic aberration.

Why are you in the forums again? If you dislike DBD so much you shouldn't be here, there's literally better things you can do with your time in quarantine. Destructive criticism and encouraging people to quit the game is just unhealthy and actually toxic behaviour.

I still enjoy the game on PC.
PS4 is an abandoned, neglected lost cause of a step child.

that's why I eventually after many years switched to PC as my main. Now I play the console versions only when I can't access PC for a reason or another or I want to play dbd from bed. But yeah, the console is a neglected mess.

Yeah, I miss PS4 chats. Some absolute gem conversations and they’re saved.
I’ve also been reprimanded by Playstation... I don’t miss that.

You can still get gems in PC, I have a thread of it saved but it has the names of the Survivors on it so I'm pretty sure if I post it here it will get me bannerino ^^;;;

I could screen shot them. They are funny. Just a bit more inconvenient. PS you can also get voice memos: complaints and death threats. Good times.

You can turn off profile comments from non-friends off just as much as you can turn notifs off.
PC DBD is by far the superior version.

I have some p3 killers, and all my killers are at 50(huntress is at 41).
I've been trying to unlock all perks for all killers...I probably only have 4 survivors at 50.
While i enjoy the hell out of dbd, I don't think I could start from scratch again 😂☠

I don't mind the tediousness, camping, tunneling that PC provides because my queue times are almost instant.

Yeah i took a break of a few months, not necessarly hate the game, it is pretty decent to hang out with friends, but it gets boring and repetitive at some times, like all other games but it is ok

Yeah, I had to start with Claudette, then Nea (before the Balanced Landing nerf) then David then Laurie then finally Meg.
It does suck you're not offered and Bloodpoints for buying the game. At least SOME Bloodpoints for purchasing the game would have been great, even now for people who just started.

Exactly, I mean on both ps4 and pc I have all dlcs except the new girl (whose name I can't remember) but on ps4 I have most of my killers p3 lvl 40-50 but with a lot of cosmetics, on pc I have well only 1 Meg cosmetic

In the evening on PS4 as a survivor it's really horrible, that's true. You get extreme long queue times and very often the game ends pretty fast. I solved it by switching to killer in the evening and trying to a better game than the killers I normally get at this time. To be fair, I must say that many (not all) survivors don't understand that you are trying to make a good game and trying to disrespect you at the end of the game. But maybe this confirms that they had a great game and that was the main goal. If I at least hook some people and had great chases it's a gg for me. There is not need for me to kill everyone everytime. Because many kills does not always mean that the game was nice.

I'm pretty sure that's the fact. But you need 1 killer for 4 survivors. In the evening when everyone is coming home from work they want to play in a group with there friends. So I think you got much more suvivors then killers. I'm also pretty sure that there are more swfs in the evening. And there are so much swfs are waiting for a match, that even low rank killers get high ranked swfs. In the evening I get 90% red rank swfs and I'm in the green ranks. But it's only in the evening that strange. Additionally some survivor activities like t-bagging, flashlight clicking reduce the amount of players who want so play killer. So in my opinion the behaviour of many suvivors is also a reason for long queue times. The funny thing is that they don't realize that.
