why do people complain about slugging
Slugging is a really good strategy and if i'm myers and tier 3 has popped i'm not gonna waste it. I'll down as many survivors as i can to put more pressure on the survivors. Also if you hate slugging so much just bring unbreakable. I get that it might be boring but you'll either be hooked or picked up soon if the killer is still trying to get people that aren't near him/her. Honestly some survivors (not all) need to get a grip

also sorry it's just people complain a lot if i use this strat when it is really effective.

You said it yourself; it's boring
Especially killers who do it when there are only two people left since usually that means the slugged gets to sit there for four minutes waiting for the timer to run out.

People like to interact with the game. Any time they are lying on the floor, their interaction is just staring at the screen, waiting, waiting, waiting...
Killers don't understand because they always have something to occupy them. If anything, they often have too much on their plate.

sorry man but i need those points plus i just try to find hatch then kill the guy i slugged and start the egc

It is a legit strategy for a killer to do, even if I don't like it. But you asked why people hate it; it's super boring for the slugged. Until there is a way to counter it (without throwing a perk slot away on the off-chance the killer is a slugger), people are going to complain about it.

You really need to blame the game for this IMO, not the killer. There's absolutely no benefit for the killer to kill the 3rd survivors. If anything, it simply gives the chance for last one to escape.
If they want to address this issue, they need to implement a new mechanic like EGC.

Personally as a Killer, I just kill the third guy. If the fourth survivor gets away via the Hatch because I don't know where it is or because it is too far away for me to get to it, so be it. I find slugging incredibly cheap the same way I view tunneling and camping so I don't do it to survivors since I don't like it being done to me when I'm a survivor.

Slugging #3 for the 4k (or to find the hatch) or whatever is a lazy, cheap move. This just cheats the last survivor of a fair end game experience. The above example of tier 3 Myers or Oni, who have the temporary insta are more reasonable reasons. All in all slugging is a toughy as far as being able to defend its use but it has way more gray area than camp or tunnel. Just don't be dick about it. Chainsawing 3 survs, 3 min in and camping them to lure out #4 is ridiculous, tiering Mike and running get a couple down is totally fine.

I'm also kill the 3rd one like you because i want to end the game faster.
I'm just saying that if you can get 3k, then you only need little effort to get your 4k. This is not the killer's fault, but the game itself.
In conclusion, if the killer is nice, he'll give last survivor a chance to survive. If the killer want to do his objective and win completely, he'll slug. So basically 3k only happens when the killer is nice.

I don’t care about slugging unless the killer does it at 5 gens or when there are two people left. Zzzzzz. But to apply some pressure in the mid-game or end game it’s absolutely fine.

Yeah why complaining about something thats basically exploiting, cause you "outdo" fundamental game elements (carrying, saves, hooking, unhooking) to gain a massive advantage. And besides that its so fun to see a killer slugging four survivors while no gen is done, or cause "otherwise he cant get his -deserved- 4k". Also being slugged is one of the most frustrating "states" in game. But hey its a legit strategy. Its hilarious.

Because people complain about anything. There are perks to get yourself out of the situation but some survivors still don't like it. Whether the killer slugs you at 5 Gens or 1 Gen, it's pressure. People scream at the killer to not "tunnel" or "camp" and to apply pressure on other survivors, but when the killer does exactly that, they still complain. You can't win for losing.

Well lets see, you can move away and get picked up, use the unbreakable perk to just get up. Not to mention whenever discussion about how to deal with DS come up the usual answer is either just take it or "Slug and wait out 60 seconds" its a strategy because survivors have options around it or options that make it the only real way to work with it

If you want the 4k and are gonna slug as killer just run BBQ and Chili. Hook the second person a good bit away from the first and boom. You know where your slug is

depends on the situation. If a killer slugs me because there is someone near by than whatever I don’t care but when a killer slugs me for like half a game or slugs me and leaves me for no reason then it really shits me. It’s boring and if there’s no need for it.
yes you can bring in unbreakable but that only works once per match. If the killer is constantly slugging then it’s useless.

If u slug u slug, if u tunnel u tunnel ect. People just need to wise up, and move onto the next game end of

This is where i get confused. Because how is that any different then getting hooked? You can't do anything, you just stare at your screen, and maybe you have to mash spacebar, but its worse to me then being slugged. At least if i'm slugged i can move around.

I love it when the killer slugs me, If they dont slug me that means they are hooking me, which means I am gonna die, which also means the game ends earlier. Please killer slug me more

because i would die on hook well before i would die if i just lay on the ground and bled out. i find it much more boring being slugged. you can also attempt to get off the hook or if you have deliverance you can get off

Like others said: Like you said: It's boring.
I mostly dislike being bored.

I play this game for Survivor-Killer interactions
laying on the floor is not fun, its boring and I'd rather eat a ban and play something else than wait for your precious 4k
