Slugging is a good thing, here's why
If you aren't being slugged you are being put on the hook, if you are on the hook that means you are gonna die, if you are gonna die then the game ends earlier. When a killer slugs me I actually hope they slug me as I get to live (Unless they come back and hook me which kinda sucks but it happens).
Its also good for killer as you get to buy time for yourself and go for other survivors who are repairing gens

I'm fine with it within reason. If you slug someone because you think someone is nearby, or you think they've got DS, than of course, do it. I'd do the same, but I dislike the 'tactic' that many people do, which is slug them for 4 minutes without them being hooked even though they're all downed.

Ah yes, I love gameplay where I have to crawl around on the floor
yes indeed, very fun

i'd rather be put on the hook to die than lie on the ground until i bleed out. it's boring getting slugged. I'd rather die on hook and get the chance to start another game than just lie there not being able to do anything. especially when you go solo, a lot of survivors play for themselves and won't even come to get you up.

At least you still get to move around, on the hook you get to stay still as a giant tentacle spider thing tries to penetrate you

Depends. When a killer slugs me instead of tunnel hooking me, sure. I can appreciate that they are at least giving me a shot to get up while they go after someone else. When they slug me and leave me sitting on the ground as bait so they can flush out my teammate because all they care about is a 4k, I'd like to hard pass.

I love getting slugged. Tenacity makes every slug a free escape. It's a tactic to force more map pressure and get people off gens. Everyone tells killers to pressure gens, slugging is pressuring gens. Makes complaints ironic.
