Does anyone else have friends that try to act like No0b3?

I normally play this game solo but sometimes I play with my friend who label's his Dwight as "toxic" after watching a couple of No0b3 videos on YouTube and trying to act like him. He constantly trys to 360 and fails, flashlight save and fails, goes out of his way sometimes to try and make the killer DC and acts like he knows everything about the game. Everything he does he label's as toxic because he heard No0b3 say it was toxic in a video and its infuriating. Anyone else have to put up with this level of stupid when they play with there friends? I'm curious. (no hate intended towards No0b3)

By 'toxic' do you mean just playing the game somewhat normally (flashlights and 360's are pretty normal. Inneffective, but normal), or going out of their way to ruin the killers experience and and be a complete arse (t-bagging safe pallets, spamming vaults, locker DS, immortality abuse, etc.)? Either way, the know-it-all part sounds annoying but I've never had to deal with it myself.

No, we play to have fun , enjoy teamwork and each other's personalities.

If you act like a douche, you will not be invited back.

Our group is a pretty solid 6. Who ever is available plays.

With that said, I would not say 360s or flashlights are toxic. Just trying to keep your friends off the hook.

Same with camping and tunneling , might not like it, but not toxic.

people in this thread acting like play toxic makes you some degenerate lol

as for 360s and such, those aren't toxic

I phrased that bit wrong he tries to 360 instead of looping and fails miserably and keeps trying to flash light save because he saw No0b3 do it. He label's that stuff toxic himself.

Honestly I've been debating just soloing and not playing swf since the others keep making excuses for him I try to avoid playing with him whenever I can but the others keep inviting him.

To be fair, i think noob3 has matured a bit. His newer stuff is less in your face piss killer off. I like it....although i admit to a small part of me really prefering his older stuff. Hes just more of a regular player now. Which is better for the game as a whole....if not as entertaining!

I have only one friend playing DBD and we are both grown-ups, so we dont try to do stuff like that.

When I see Survivors acting like they are no0b3, Ayrun or whoever, they usually fail doing so.

btw. I would not consider no0b3 as toxic. He uses it more like a label, but he is not playing in a way to ruin the Killers experience.

I'm not saying No0b3 is Toxic my friend watched No0bs videos and hears him say "toxic" and he automatically thinks everything No0b3 does is Toxic. He's not the smartest tool in the shed.

If that honestly their true goal. Well, have they ever try to play killer? Like that the only thing i can think of. Maybe they will understand then, that the killer is also a player trying to have a good time.

Yeah, what counts as toxic or not is very heavily debatable from what i seen. Since well ask someone about camping and you will get different replies. Like oh yeah it toxic, others will say it a legit plan but only during endgame. Heck seen some say, oh yeah blinding the killer while breaking a pallet is toxic and that made me go, what? Like for all i know they are just trying to get some points or give themselves more time to run away or try something sneaky, to loop around behind the killer while they are blind. Blinding a killer while breaking a pallet never seen to be rude or bad sportsman ship, it just seem to be doing what the video game allows them to do. Using the flash lights to well blind the killer.

I'm pretty sure 99% of the time when noob3 says something is toxic he is making a joke. He'll say stuff like "holding down m1 you dirty toxic gen rushers." Emulating any youtuber or celebrity is corny, but trying to 360 or flashlight save isn't really emulating a youtuber. To me it is trying to learn their tactics, some being more practical than others.

For the record I didn't know flashlight saves are considered to be difficult, noneffective, or trademarked to any specific youtuber. Ironically enough flashlight saves are one of the easiest to pull off for me, just have to practice aiming the flashlight.

No, i wont add or play with people like that. i dont do the toxic behavior and tbh its cringe. sure N00B3 is a good player but alot of his videos he`s bullying people not of the same rank etc. i dont see the need to try bully people whether theyre bad or not, the amount of times i get flashlight saves and regret it because that person then starts being toxic... id rather let my toxic team die than save them, treat how you wanna be treated and all that stuff...

Not friends, but something similar. I'm talking about those people I face against when I play killer. They try to be toxic as much as they can. They crouch spam on pallets or blind me while injured, they get downed right after I break it. They try to 360 or not throw a pallet thinking Im a moron who will let them loop me more, they get downed right away.

These people are pretty close to friends for me from how many games they have made much easier for me. As a survivor, I don't really care about them since they are as useful as the Claudette crouching around the whole game or literally 90% of the people I play with who self care in a corner all day. I'm sane :)

In this game, no, but I've had the unfortunate experience of associating with people in other games who are know it all's. Game knowledge I can respect, but being a troll or back seat gaming just irks me. So I rarely knew these people for long, and would just drop out of their orbit.

Life is too short for irritating people.

Fortunately I don't swf with people who act like that, and I probably wouldn't for long. But yeah some survivors on my team or that I'm facing clearly think they're at the level of their favourite streamer bc they bought pink hair cosmetics and brought a flashlight. Then after some glorious flashlight clicking they dead hard into a tree, get downed, DC or suicide, RIP

Me all the time!.... I wish i could flashlight save most of the time tho when i have a flashlight. Or not go down in 20 seconds.

But he did help me learn how to loop more efficiently.
