Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

After seeing otz and monto play him who knew oni could play in some ways better with a addon without his power then with it lol. Wonder if thats a good or bad thing though? What you guys think? (For anyone curious)

The god of anime knows all and sees all.

On a more serious note. I would be highly interested in seeing anyone pull off a three man or four man escape against a decent Oni player with this build. For it seems like it would be hard to beat a build that grants someone basically endless information.

I think it's good that there's build diversity. I've always liked that about Doctor or Hag, or even Myers (although I don't like him very much). They have interesting addons that change the way they play and make their power work differently. I don't think things like that are too unhealthy for the game, as long as they individually aren't completely OP.

Thing is with this build that he's running, he kind of bases his build off that bloody glove. He's running a perk that just gives terror radius and BP, two perks that reveal healing speed, and a tracking perk along with his tracking addon (the glove.) This means that he's not running any slowdown, regression, or chase perks. Without anything like that this build just kind of reminds me of a knockoff Plague, where instead of being broken, the survivors can heal but it just takes a really long time instead of cleansing. If you think Plague is a "good thing" then I would say this build probably is too. If you think Plague is OP or super unfun or broken or whatever, then maybe it's a bad thing.

To be completely fair he played on the map that is completely easy for killers. Like seriously this map is just a heaven for killers. Even on the badham killers must put more effort to the gameplay than on hawkins. Yikes map.

I think it probably only worked so well because of the map. Hawkins lets him abuse his terror radius since it's so small. He'd be punished much harder for not using his power on a larger map like Mother's Dwelling.

I think the biggest strenght of this build is the map, kinda like Scratched Mirror Myers on Lerys.

Watched the vid, idk man the Survivors he played against were potatoes honestly. I lost count of the stupid mistakes being made like throwing pallets without looping, not looking behind them, etc. It's a good build I think, but none of these matches were really a good test.

I watched that video and I am tempted to try out the same with Oni.

I do find his power bothersome sometimes and this might make me want to play him more despite him already being in my regular rotation of killers.

Problem is I don't have the perks necessary for the build :(

And I dont want to waste more BP on him because I already reached Level 50 on him, guess I'll wait until I finished getting all the perks on Spirit.
