Both arguments just dont work but some people still try to defend noed or ds.
I don't think ds should be destroyed just fixed in a way that makes it an anti tunnel perk
And noed should reward the killer in the endgame for playing well in the mid game not for playing bad in the mid game
This is just my opinion. Tell me your opinions on "just do bones 4head" and "just slug lol"

People think noeds just too strong i feel.If they reworked noed to be like when the gates get powered and you hooked 4 or more times it activates people would still say it rewards bad gameplay.

Shhh, don't call out obvious equivalents to annoying survivor perks that killers have to deal with by playing suboptimally just like survivors with NOED.
All survivor perks are fair and promote "FUN" gameplay while also beiing too weak so devs should just buff them. Only killer perks are too OP and don't have enough counterplay and are too game swingy.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself to poke fun at the dumb stereotypical idea that DS is only promoting healthy gameplay with it beiing "anti-tunneling" perk when it clearly gives 1 min immunity.
I do agree, both perks NOED and DS need some changes but neither should be gutted, just reworked to lessen the frustrating aspects of them. Both are problematic equally and hopefully devs didn't forget about them and are planning to change both.

You need to change the minds of the devs. Their game, their rules. Even with the spamming of NOED threads every second, 24/7/365...It still appears that the devs think noed is in a good place.

"Just slug" is a perfectly reasonable response to complaints about DS. Killers in general need to learn the best times to slug rather than go straight for a hook. The only issue is that Unbreakable makes relying on teammates unnecessary, which I feel is unhealthy for a game as team-oriented as DbD

I always look for extra bones and slugs when needed, it doesnt bother me that much. Even as killer if I run NOED, it never procs about 80% of the time. DS doesnt bother me to bad either except few select situations. I always ate it or waited 60 seconds by looking for another surv

Last december was yui and oni. Ruin was in jan. I like to contribute too but 5000 is alot some people have been in the fourms since like 2018 and only have 2000 posts. Surprisingly most your posts are actually contributing and not just spam like git gud or just slug lol

Slugging helps in every match, all the time, where as doing bones wont always help, they're pretty far apart from one another imo.

Im not against slugging but in some situations your not in a position where you can slug such as jumping in lockers or endgame which is where ds imo becomes op

Its really not. Survivors dont have time for bones anymore due to the chases ending much faster. Killers have more than enough time to secure their victory, but if they're messing up then slugging is a viable way to ensure the game is slowed down.

Actually no, I honestly play both roles equally.

5 x totems 14 seconds perk totem = 70 seconds for 5 totems
4 x survivor
5 x gens 80 seconds per gen = 4:00 minutes based off 1 x survivor
chances are you come across these totems they’re just not a priority in survivors heads. Yet survivors state they take too long to cleanse
Imagine blaming a 3 perk killer for 1 perk that’s activated in the final 2 minutes of gameplay, instead of acknowledging survivors ignorance.....
A simple all rounded survivor acknowledgment of totems are priorities would make NOED obsolete and killers would stop running it.
But go ahead, make a valid argument on how it’s not ignorance I’ll wait.....

Honestly, do bones is even worse that 'just slug'. At least you get something out of slugging someone, it's map pressure! Although I don't often have many opportinities to slug out the DS these days what with DS lockers still being a thing. 'Do bones' is more along to 'facecamp the locker the guy fast-vaulted into the locker 20 seconds after being unhooked and healing at a jungle gym'.
Except it's still somehow worse, because the 'counterplay' to NOED is actually stronger than the perk itself, AND is only valid as long as you cleanse all 5 totems AND the killer actually had NOED. On top of that? 'RuN a PeRk To CoUnTeR a PeRk'. Yeah, real intelligent argument you have there. Even ignoring THAT level of stupidity, what happens if I cleanse 3 totems, my teammates cleanse 2, AND WE CANNOT TELL EACH OTHER SO WE SPEND ANOTHER 5 MINUTES NOT DOING GENS, SEARCHING FOR TOTEMS THAT DONT EXIST?
'Do bones' is the absolute dumbest bit of counterplay in this entire game, mostly because it actually seems reasonable on the surface and IS reasonable if you are in a 4-person party. No-one rational actually thinks that it's okay to force a DS.

If they removed the speed boost from NoeD the perk would be fair and balanced. Anyone who has played with or against PWYF enough can confirm a small boost of speed can be game changing.

Yeah, but the slug argument has merit beyond countering DS: It's map pressure for the killer. Maybe not in the best way, but it's still pressure, unless they run the good old DS/Unbreakable. If you cleanse all 5 dull totems in a game with no NOED, or 4 in a game with NOED, you get nothing for it. In fact, you are helping the killer out.
I think maybe the problem is that there is no 1 perk that survivors have that is directly comparable to NOED. Adrenaline has a similar effect, but there is literally 0 counterplay and it only effects 1 person per perk. Even DS is mostly just a problem when people exploit it and/or combo it with other perks. It's just one of those things that really needs to be experienced, but I guess a lot of people just refuse to play survivor and just assume everyone is Seal Team SWF.

I've always felt like there should be more incentive to break bones than just to disable NOED or activate Inner Strength. Some kind of mechanic where, the more totems that are destroyed, the more powerful the survivors get in some way. Something that makes survivors want to look for and cleanse totems to improve their odds for escaping.

I chill here during queues and loading screens. I don't use my phone so I can hold my controller and manage my mic. Not the most efficient strat probably but it makes for a funny story.

I have i actually am a pro slugging billy lol. But if its a normal killer lets say clown against ds+unbreakable you slug them they pick themselves up so it was usless just like having to do 5 bones solo

Its not efficient lol i just take of my headphones and controller since survivor q times are horrible but i can see my screen so i can tell when a game has started.
Btw since your on xbox maybe we should play sometime (my mic dosent work so cant talk only the headphone part works) if you wanna play just tell me your gamertag and I'll add you when i play later im rank 4 but havent played in a few days

having this Slugg convo would be more fun if you knew who i actually am. But go ahead and call yourself a Pro at slugging. and yes i do agree weaker killers cannot slugg Mainly M1 killers without anything to help in chase "focused on insta downs mainly" cause they are just to... slow yes but you kinda don't have to cleanse totems "Just do totems" Litrally just scout Totems and remember the spawns saves litrally 1 minute by not cleansing all of them and 1 minute 15 if there's no noed.
