Rant from victims (the actual killers in the game) of toxic swf
Its easy to know theres a shortage of killers based on que times. 15 mins que for survs (if lucky) and almost instant match for killers. Recently its even 30 mins for survs. Last night ive had the last straw being bulllied and from now on Ill get into a trial with these toxic teams and try to franklin your purple flashlight and pink key before instantly dc'ing.
I play both sides (green-purple) and realy dont understand the level of toxicity in this community (PS4) at higher ranks. Im a relatively new player but Im learning quite fast as I take the time and effort to improve by learning optimal loops/routes/building/pressure for both sides.
Alas what is the point in improving when skill and jukes are irrelevant against these toxic pricks? I'll give 3 matches back to back that I had last night as examples. Mind you I was just playing bubba (rank 11) with only BBQ and Iron Grasp as some good perks (+Whispers+Sloppy) just to have an enjoyable game while stacking my BP (bbq). Matchmaking is an absolute joke (although it could be from the lack of killers - cause its too stressful to play). All 3 matches all the survs were running the usual sweaty perks btw BT,DS,Adrenalin,Self Care,Dead Hard,Sprint Burst. Only twice was a different perk used empathy and head-on to mug me off later.
1st match Haddonfield SWF prestige 2/3 (3 of them Level 1 and a Level 4). Downed the first one after 3 safe pallet loops and 2 others instantly appear one trying to sabo the nearest hook the other creeping for the heal (under a pallet by the way). Ok fine got away with all of them working together but managed to down the sabo guy quickly and here they come again with 2 flashlights this time. 2 gave up cause I know how to pickup safely and avoid the beam as soon as I hook I see 2 already gen rushing with my bbq. Loose-loose situation if I abandon hook free rescue and heal, if I camp gen rush to next gen. The same ######### happens for the next guy hooked and tadaa all gens are done. They tried the double flashlight again but this kill's mine buddy.
2nd match Badham again 3 red 1 purple rank, Im still using (now) level 12 bubba btw, four big ol' toolbox for the rush. I figure ok havent met u guys Ill play nicely if you dont give me a reason to be an ar****le. A bit easier for the hunt cause no annoying flashlight rushers I get four hooks for my bbq stack and didnt camp once, all the while getting tbag and pointed at for every pallet each of them used. Ofcourse no stopping the gen-rush no kill this time 2 injured at final gen as I approach and both had adrenalin yeay! Was tbaged again for good at the gates btw for what exactly I had no idea, was playing classy all game no camping/tunelling/sluggng just wanted my bbq points.
3rd match (coldwind offering) met with 1st team again this time 4 flashlights and the add-on that protects them form loosing item if sacrificed in trial. How I'm mismatched on level again is a mystery (not realy). Fine Ill tunnel and camp if thats what u want. Oops sorry, safe pallets in between the building, jungle gym and killer shack wont let you do that. I dont spend ages getting looped by the way, hooked 2 and got rid of 2 safe pallets while eating 2 DS (one after I hooked another guy - how bs is that?). Even managed to mind-game the killer shack and get a hit in 1 loop, but robbed of the downing hit by head on from another t**t who was standing by before the chase even went there. If this isnt bullying/toxic I dunno what is. Theyve completed 4 gens waiting to tap the last gen by then and are in full bully mode. Managed to hook a feng min but hey thats not the hard part. Steve went for the save and the moment I chainsaw both of them, another pops the last gen and yeay adrenalin save their a** again. That is some steph-curry buzzer beater bs timing and coordination if there ever was one, If anyone needs another proof that swf breaks the game. Still managed to tunnel and slug her again closer to the gate. Now this is the most frustrating thing Ive ever encountered in a game for years. Flashlight fiesta as she crawled to the gate but was able to trick them into a safe pickup, they tried body blocking as I look up while walking to avoid flashlight. I swear the hook wasnt sabo'd but I couldnt hook her. Looked down to see if anyone was hook blocking but no one was there. Alright Ill put her down if thats the only thing I could do. Cant put her down either! Freaking hell I dunno what kinda glitch/hack I was a victim of but it was soo stressful. She wiggled of and escaped while a Zarina that I didnt chase the whole game was spamming flashlight at the gate. So your buddy very luckily escaped and you were there to taunt me for her cause she couldnt do it herself when I didnt come up or have any chase against you? Was she just in the game to gen rush and be toxic? Tell me at what point in the game did I have 'fun'?
These players are absolutely ruining the game, for killers who very reluctantly play knowing the odds against them who in turn will play a very boring build thats no fun for other survivors. I will regularly hunt just the 3 swf if they are paired with a solo since they will annoy me the most by hookswarm, tbag and clicking. These toxic swf players are such scumbags and have such a mob mentality. In fact Ive even played with them previously (they invited me). I do 2 gens and got in a chase, but the moment two of them got hooked they all Dc'd and leave me to be hunted (I was heading for the save), tell me that isnt scummy. Another time I joined a 3swf lobby against nurse got spotted immediately and was tunneled for 5 mins straight while they didnt do a single gen. The moment I got downed they all went for the flashlight save and nurse Dc'd. So they made the killer quit and also made my effort and plays pointless.
I will play happily knowing Im up against other genuine players. Heck I carry the last surv every game and find the hatch for them cause I know Ive won and theres no harm in being nice to other players. From now on Ill ruin these toxic players' experience in the game and make that a priority if they come up. Such scummy players do not deserve people's time and other survs waiting in the lobby who actually want to play. As said earlier, Ill get in a match with you and Dc if I recognize your team from a previous trial. Best of luck waiting for another 30 mins in lobby while I hunt survs who actually wanna play fairly.
Sorry for the long rant but there isnt a tbag button or vault spam for killers in the game so had to let it out somehow.

At least give yourself a chance here. You'd have to be a pretty outstanding killer to take down even halfway decent teams with Bubba running BBQ/Iron Grasp/Whispers/Sloppy.
I'm not quite sure what the argument is here. That's a bad build on one of the worst killers in the game. Why should killers expect to 4k with a bad killer/bad build against a decent team running the meta?

Just realy dissapointed with the matchmaking and toxic behavior of these death squads. Ill post some evidence of these poor matchmaking later, though I highly suspect it could be due to lack of available killers.
Cant we all have fun without bullying and harassment? I dont expect 4k at all, in fact I rarely do cause I let last surv (even take them myself) escape to hatch. The taunt at gates and every pallet is really unnecessary and serves the sole purpose of taking joy in the missery of others (the definition of toxic).

That is why I keep saying that survivors on ps4 are the most toxic out of the bunch, just remember that you are improving and will later on kick their asses once you start getting better perks

Getting these suckers every second match at least.
Just look at that dumbass loadouts. F.ing swf even go as far to burn a ######### farm offering and a mist. Not to mention they must have all the broken items in the world eh? Half of the team was legacy btw. When I see this, I instantly pick bubba and face camp. Have no interest in playing fair when they play with cheats on top of all of this (voice comms/streched screen) and give them an easy game where they eventually all escape no matter what happens any T-bag at the gates like an ultimate virgin they are. At least they tought I’m bad and made a stupid mistake trying to unhook the face camped guy in the hill that got 2 of them downed and it was pretty much GG at that point. (Still had to extend this stupid match with unbreakable because of what a wonderfull perk it is, but it didn’t change a thing at least)

Apparently its way different on PS4 and maybe due to region/timing. I myself was in a que as surv and was waiting for 20 mins still didnt get in lobby thats why I switched to killer.

I've said the exact same thing but I've never actually committed to being toxic, just remember this, if they send you msgs through psn it means that you won fair and square, but they are salty that they didn't won, I suggest just trying to enjoy the match, ignore what they do, when I used to really care I used to get pissed a lot, now I usually play for fun and laugh whenever they are getting destroyed and they start teabagging.
Here is a short story.
I was playing demo on father's chapel, as everyone knows demo isn't op or anything, I was running a semi meme build(not a complete meme) mad grit, stbfl, pop and surge (so I could do the damage gens rift challenge) they only did 1 gen, I didn't camped, didn't tunnel, I was playing normally, I 3 hooked almost everyone but my obsession which happened to be a Meg(stbfl), then I was pretty happy with the game, started breaking pallets, damaging other gens etc, the Meg just threw the pallet and started teabagging dropped another pallet and started fast vaulting it, not even realizing that I didn't cared for the 4k on that match, if the game was like before where you needed to do 2 gens in order to have the hatch open, I 100% believe she wouldn't have teabagged, I laughed hard because she had to escape through the hatch and judging by how she played I assumed she was rank 15-16, turns out she was rank 2

Survivor queue on PS4 can be long. The problem I have with the rant by the first guy on this thread is that PS4 survivors are without a doubt the worst survivors on average.
I've played on PC, Xbox and PS4. As a killer it is easier to obliterate a PS4 team than any other. They're just not good and some of these people are advertising their streams and I can't for the life of me think why anyone would want to watch someone who can run the killer for less than 5 seconds??

Good on you dude well done, I just dont have the nice perks and add-ons yet. The truth is even we dont like to run NOED or play insidious camping bubba but what choice do we have against such amount of sweat?

It's funny and sad that these perks are really beyond effective in SWF but in solo's beside Addy sometime and BT i don't get the most use out of it and prefer using others perks (i'm a rank 4 Survivor btw solo only)
I also had a very bad game as a killer 2 days ago, you know it's trouble when you spot the claudette she begin to flashlight clicks and then t-bag after a couple of loop i down her and just before i pick her up i look around, guess what Bill,dwight and nea are all around with flashlights i get a couple of free hits and even down bill while puking on everyone (i'm plague) hook bill but there still all around the damn hook and then for the next 10 min it's nothing but dodging flashlight, DS,unbreakable and hooking them one after the other on repeat not even doing gen.
All this while flashlight clicking and t-bagging of course, i did ended up 4K tho.

True some are trash and can be hunted fairly easily. Just note that killers arent the best to play with either due movement and camera pans that adapts to a pc game in the first place. Nonetheless, it doesnt matter how quickly you down them when the synergized crutch perks and swat-like coordination come into play against a mismatched low-level killer.

Fully agree brother, Im just here trying to get BP and level up to get the better perks yet they cant leave without making me see their bum squats at the gate across map. Smh.

But it really is just how you look at it. They all spent more bloodpoints on their items and addons then they got back from the game. And you got double the points their top did. People probably do this just to bother you, and if it doesn't bother you, they all wasted their time and their progress.

I love how trash killers use any excuse to be pathetic and camp because they have no real skill to get kills. I play killer and never camp. Ever. And my que times as a rank 4 survivor are only like 3 min.

Lol I'm a rank 4 killer and face red ranks all the time. Also I'm a rank 4 survivor. Still, neither side is hard for me. I just don't expect to get 4ks every game even though I get 3ks 85% of my games as killer and never camp or tunnel.

Um...look, I'm a killer main, but do you realize that screenshots like this DO NOT make us look good? swf is definitely a problem, but you literally posted a screenshot where you 4k'd a swf with the best possible items, perks, and terrible map offering.
This is like as someone posting a thread called "See?? clown is so underpowered!" but then they post a video of a clown getting a 4k with a meme build.

I was just in a game against forever freddy who slugged all of us until bleed out while nodding his head at each of us. This community is really toxic sometimes but atleast there's some nice people i had a god huntress teach me how to perdict survivors and other cool things so atleast not everyones toxic

So apparently only high rank = high skill according to some people. Surely red rank players never use great perks and only rely on skill right? My (limited cause havent unlocked much) build aids me to hunt the next surv and leave the hook to stack points, so I dont know how a camp/tunnel playstyle was deducted.. Plus the 'I get 4k easy at red ranks' mentality was realy not relevant to what I posted. I get 4k's againts red ranks swf too with that build. That's not the point, its about poor matchmaking compounded by toxicity and bullying of others when they are in control at the end. Its alright buddy, they just dont get it.

Got the same treatment from a slug/stalk/tbag ghostface a few days back myself. Its true there are nice people as well. At least we gotta try being the +ve to outweigh the ever-present toxic bunch. Plus huntress is realy fun to play with/against (not iri).

You are not a victim. You are a good man (or girl, or man, or lady, or ecc.. ecc..) without Correct Perks and without a lot of experience. Fact.
In this game you need:
- a lot of hours (a lot more than standard if you plan to play killer side)
- lot of perks
- to play like surv/killer to understand better both sides and to apply your best strategies in game
- to use perk to slowdown (pop, ruin,corrupt invervention, tatanofobia,dying light, eccc...)
- to master the killer you are using (you need several hours)
- to stay calm if you play killer. surv will try to distract you in the game as much as possibile (to spam with flashlight in game, trying to catch your attention to go to another side of the map, ecc....), it's part of the game.
You fail in one or more points. Just relax, play in your free time as much as possible and you will have better performances 100%.

I agree that T-bagging is annoying but there are worse cases of harassment when it comes to DBD. Idk why everyone makes a big deal about spamming a button in game when there are people (me and plenty of others) that have been targeted in worse ways. I’ve been targeted through my Youtube Channel and spammed to “off myself” in my comments on various amounts of my videos. My best friend got a psn message containing his IP, City & State along with threats due to him slugging with Piggy so the last Survivor wouldn’t get hatch. T-bagging is a walk in the park compared to what these Survivors will do. I’d rather be bullied & t-bagged.

Hello. The game is unfortunatly super toxic, but it does not seem to be that devs are able (or even want to) change anything about it. The only 2 things you can do is to get used to it or leave the game.
By the way, the level of toxicness is totally qual on both sides. Headshaking killers, facecamping, tunneling and then let the survivor bleed out (and i dont mean slug) is not uncommon in this game unfortunatly. The reason why you probably see it differently is because of the stress level you have while playing killer.

Don’t be an ignorat fool ######### hell. No you having an older monitor is not cheating because you use it on native resolution. If you change an average 1980p monitor though to like 1980x1980, because of the dumb nature of the game you get a significant VERTICAL filed if view gain. Which is again cheating. You can see over everything and eliminate the possiblity of the killer mindgaming loops that are balanced around being mindgamable.

You have no clue what you talking about. There is no difference between native 4:3 and stretched 4:3 to 16:9 (besides being stretched), both give out the same image advantage. I tried out both. Educate yourself before talking.

Self care a sweaty perk? Self care gamers are the killers allies. Especially with sloppy. They spent so much time doing nothing.
One of the worst perks in the game. It's good only for rank 13-20. On these ranks the pace is slow. (Hiding, urban, etc)
Just bring a medkit or Inner strength.
