Tunnel = DS plus camp = BT Survivors have enough weapons. Stop complain about it

Member Posts: 1,415

Hello,

topic says all. Survivors have enough perks or playstyles to counter it. I know it can be frustrating but stop complain about it. It´s like with Noed, Bloodwarden and stuff like this. Theres is no day survivors didn´t complain about stuff that exists since release the game.

it´s not killer´s problems if you don´t want to play with theese perks. ?

I have been doing perkless runs as survivor for the last....3 - 4 weeks now, going fine tbh.

having to use perks to deal with scummy behavior isn't fun, i agree with the above comments. i love playing around with unique builds so i'm often punished by killers for not simply countering their tunnel / camp / slug with ds / bt / unbreakable, which sucks but I'll take it over draining all the joy out of the game by limiting myself to 1 perk slot.

Siriously theres no Rulebook for Survivors ! Killer´s are there to find and kill survivors & it´s an killer decision how to.... They playing killer, not butler for survivors.

DS is good, but a 60 minutes DS is not balanced.

exactly this if OP wants to play the slippery slop game this is what it usually boils down too. The logic of forcing 2 perk slots to be 100% occupied isn't really an argument to come and try to justify the way you play. The problem is most of the perks aren't competitive with the meta not even close, and the ones that can work in very specific situations you'll see in streamer meme like Monto trying to get metal of man to work

There are a couple of perks that come close but with how some killers play we need to run these perks. The difference in having an obsession in a game and not is massive. Personally I'd rather not need to run DS but I feel like I need to.

The weekend just past I played for a few hours on Friday, none on Saturday and for about 6 or so hours on Sunday. I had the opportunity to hit DS 10 times and they were pretty much all because the killer tunnelled me.

If I could run perks like Resilience and WGLF I'd be happy but I can't.

Funny given that you complain about “genrushing”. You have perks/add-ons and strong killers to deal with it if you need the help. Stop complaining about it. But let me guess, you don’t feel like you should be restricted to top tier killers and/or certain gen builds? Yet survivors are not allowed to complain about something that makes them feel required to use the same perks. Typical double standard.

I mean im not using ds at red ranks and its fine (mostly because killer either slugs because they think i have it which is when unbreakable comes in handy) bt though yeah its a big necessity for me because even if i attempt to safe unhook theres some scenarios i have to unhook unsafely.

I miss my Urban Evasion, Sprint Burst, Botany Knowledge and Poised Combo.

Did you ever consider that stagnation leads to boredom? Maybe we DON'T use the "meta" build because that is boring and we like a bit of excitement.

It is exciting for killers to get flamed for being total scumbags after tunnelling, camping and being genuinely horrible because you can?

Why should I have to forfeit MY perk slots because YOU don't want to actually play the game?

Yes these perks do exist for these reasons, but they shouldn't HAVE TO, let alone become the most optimal choices to run. Killers brought the current meta on themselves. They have nobody else to blame. I'm just glad that my personal playstyle doesn't allow for such behaviour, and never gets completely flamed, ridiculed or disparaged as a result of it.

I for one also hate one-use perks, and prefer general consistency and permanent use. Part of the reason I still run Self-Care over Inner Strength. That and I already had Claudette levelled up long before Nancy was released.

Wow ... 5s stun and then you get still tunneled. Wow BT ... and then you get still tunneled. Great "counters". Why do you guys even try to justify this bullshit every time with non-arguments?

Pretty sure Killers have various way to counter gens, yet they called for a nerf rather than 'having to waste a perk slot'. Now don't get me wrong, i have no issue with the changes, but that sword you're waving about while dictating who does and does not get to complain? Yeah...that thing cuts both ways.

Yes we have perks that counter tunneling and camping. But there are perks out there that are fun to use and not just used because "Oh I don't want to get tunneled". I want to run perks like autodidact and other things I find fun, but instead I'm stuck running BT and DS, I hate DS but I run it cause every game I get I'm instantly tunneled down from hook. Its just like old ruin, you either ran it and you had used a perk slot on it, or you didn't run it and you basically forfeit the game.

If after all that you are still tunneled then your teammates should just do objectives at that point, sure you'll probably end up dieing but that should cost a couple gens at least.
