This is stupid. And I think this needs a re work too.

I couldn’t put the video on here for some reason but I think u know what I’m about to say.

me and my mates were playing in Lampkin Lane and my friend doesn’t really know the maps to well. He was in a chase and ran up to the place shown in the picture. The killer then trapped him up there for the whole entire game and farmed bloodpoints by shocking him with his power. He wouldn’t move and wouldn’t let him out. Anyway we were there for longer than 10 mins trying to figure out a way to help him out. But we couldn’t so we ended up having to escape because of the killer not moving. Anyway, ways that could improve this area is simply just adding a Vault on either side of area or just simply Remove the boxes and just widen the gap so that the killer can’t just stand there and block the survivor from getting out. I have reported the person and I took a photo of his name but I don’t think it would be appropriate to post his name on here too. Just please give me any thoughts of what u think about this.

EDIT: Just so everyone knows, this is ONE of the houses that don’t have a back door. Also, I have been reading every single reply to my post and I also agree that you should be able to just walk through a survivor or killer if they are standing still for longer than 10 seconds or so. 👍🏻

Its a good hiding spot if you're not against a doctor and a stupid way to die when you run in there as a mistake during a chase. Im assuming this is one of the houses without the door directly infront of the steps, so its a perfectly fine way for a killer to get a kill if a survivor makes a mistake running into this area. The killer could be reported for unsportsmanlike conduct I believe if they did keep them locked in the place, but the map is fine lmao, use your eyes next time, Haddonfield always had unsafe porches.

Well yes. I guess what u are saying. I personally never run in up those steps if it’s a dead end. But like I said, for new people that come into the game, they don’t know the maps too well. What annoys me the most is the fact that the killer easily trapped my mate to the point where he just kept shocking him for bloodpoints and the rest of us had to escape because there was no way we was gonna get our mate out.

I might have taken it a bit too far when I said Adding a vault to the area. But maybe if they widened the gap where the stairs are and gotten rid of the boxes, then the survivor wouldn’t be able to get trapped.

But yes, I do understand where u are coming from. But people play the game to have fun and this just isn’t fun.

Your friend being new and getting confused doesnt call for an entire rework though, you learn where to go and not to go with game experience. As I said, what the killer did was bad and you should have reported it but that was just a situation you end up with because of the player, a fair killer would have simply downed him and got on with it.

You shouldve just escaped faster and let your friend die to get onto the next game instead of hanging up on things like that. Some games you will also get slugged by a toxic killer who will watch you bleed out, that doesnt mean slugging should be removed from the game because one person abuses the timer. The game is made fine (with these two things in mind, not general bugs LOL), its the players that make it how it is.

    Yes, it is reprehensible.

However, I do not think this is a problem specific to the Doctor. We can also imagine a similar situation with Oni, Myers, Plague... It is therefore rather at the map design that we must act.

It is an elevated place and there is next to no door or window connecting the house, adding a "window" on the side (behind your friend) may be possible. This would not create a powerful loop, but an exit for this kind of situation.

I think Lampkin Lane is gonna have a rework, hopefully it would fix a dead ends like these

Just because you can farm a survivors as a killer doesnt mean you have to. Its not a killer thing, its a player thing.

Report the ######### out of troll killers like that.

Giving the rest of us a bad name.

All you can do is escape and end the trial and then report. Hopefully they will get ban and we can be rid of all of the players who would be such jerks.

That is a bannable offense. It should have been reported. Nothing needs to change about that spot. Survivor made a mistake. Your friend will most likely never make it again!

My friend is a bit thick tho so it’s likely he will make the same mistake again. 😂.

I don’t mind slugging. But don’t u think just making the gap a bit wider and removing the boxes would be better than putting a vault there? It’s just a simple idea. It will work the same as it was but it would be able to stop the blocking. And I don’t think it would be that hard to rework. It’s only a small rework, it’s not a huge one.

There are more spots when you can be trapped by the killer. In hawkins upper floor on the generator room for example.

I think it's fun to make some spots dead ends.

This is not gonna be fixed because it's intended. There are a lot of hide spots where you can be blocked from escape. Some killers can use this to get a free down, like chainsaw users, plague, myers etc. It's a high risk/ high reward spot for sneaky players.

Like others have said that's a problem with the player doing it, not the map. You come off as being entitled when you ask for the map to be changed when your friend who made a mistake had a bad time once because of it.

It's highly unlikely you'll run into a killer like that on that map and that your friend will go there again. If he's really that thick then be a good friend and remember for him and remind him if you go to that map again.

I understand what you're saying, but those spots are made that way with the intent of being a good hiding spot unless you are found. I've been trapped in an upstairs room on haddonfield with no windows and a Wraith bodyblocked the only door in and out. I accepted my mistake and was ready to take the down. However this situation was almost exactly like your friend's in that he wouldn't let me leave, he stood in the doorway ringing his bell until EGC took me which was 5+ minutes later. I guess what I'm saying is the maps aren't the problem, just give good evidence of taking the game hostage/ unsportsmanlike and report them.

That sucks not sure what the doc was doing since he would have gotten far more BP if he just played the game and instead chose to just be toxic. I get that a lot of killers wi just say F it if its lampkin but this just seems boring too he might as well have just dcd took the penalty and got into a different game if he really didnt want to play the match hope your friend didnt get discouraged from playing the game since it sounds like hes kinda new.

Player hitboxes should go invisible after X seconds touching each other. This will not only prevent toxic kilker taking game hostage but also toxic team mates blocking you

Also, something that I forgot to mention was when me and my other mates were trying to help. The killer hit us but surely that would allow my teammate to run through him? But it didn’t. We thought that if the killer hits a survivor, every survivor could just run through the killer whilst his cool down is active?

All I'm gonna say is, that might fix that one particular spot, but there's soooo many places somebody could get caught in a corner and bodyblocked all game. Adding a vault in that one spot might fix that one spot, but the problem will still persist.

body blocks are awful. Hate that so much

Add player phasing after pressing into them for several seconds. It would prevent toxic surviors from trapping others in corners/ vault traps and stuff like this

Happens to me when I solo que by other survivors all the time. They will vault and then stand to the left and pinch me in a corner when I try to follow them vaulting so the killer gets us. Tons of times I've been body blocked by someone who lead the killer over to me in a chase when I was on a gen. Collision is almost a weapon at this point
