Everyone should use Bond or Kindred
Both these perks are amazing time savers and help you make smart plays as Survivor. They also add a level of coordination to solo queue that doesn't exist without them.
Bond helps you know where teammates are and what they're doing so you can easily find generators, healing and take chases without interrupting people. It also lets you know if you're safe when you hear the Killer's terror radius because you can see if someone is being chased or if it's obvious the Killer is coming for you.
Kindred gives you an idea of where the Killer is headed after the hook, think of it like a reverse BBQ. It also keeps people from going to struggle or dying on hook because teammates know if they need to go for the save. And finally it keeps two people from both getting off generators for the unhook and wasting time.
Kindred and Bond are legitimately good and aren't overrated. Add one of them to your Survivor build they don't disappoint.

I must say, Kindred is a must for solo survivors. It's really useful for information among teammates.

I won't even play as a Survivor until I have Kindred unlocked.
I've never used Dwight before so with the Challenges being him, I'll likely end up seeing what Bond is like and if that's something I want to keep. It sounds pretty useful to me.

Kindred is great but I prefer Spine Chill. it's more consistent.

Just make sure you have Bond at tier 3. It's good with the 36m range, but if you try lower tier Bond it'll be way less useful because of the worse range

redundant. better to combine Spine Chill with 3 other perks that help with other things.

Bond ? Ehmm meeh... IDK 36m LEV3 is not the best of the world. If i go solo i have 10 times more info with Empathy. Yes, you dont see the Killer, you dont know the position of the Killer but you can predict the position according how surv injured move in the map.

Not redundant at all.
Spine Chill helps you with chases.
Kindred helps you coordinate with your team.
Every solo survivor should run those two perks. Both of them together are extremely helpful.

I personally feel like I get more info from Bond, but if Empathy is your style then go for it. Having information on teammates is really strong in solo queue

Bond helps much more with decision making though. You get to see what others are doing and therefore what the best course of action would be. It'll also help you prevent interrupting gen repairs while being chased. Bond and Kindred help be more efficient overall, Empathy not so much.

I disagree. I'd much rather they run Unbreakable to help the team out of tough scenarios or DS to help slow the killer's pressure. If I want my team to coordinate better I can always run Kindred.

i agree I use these two with dead hard and iron will since I play solo they are way more useful than crutch perks

Meh. part of the fun as a solo is not knowing what the hell is going on.
If I wanted to know everything I would just join a SWF group.

I do run Kindred on all of my survivors since I do feel it’s immensely useful for solo survivors (which I am).

As another solo survivor, Kindred is pretty much in every build of mine. It's gotten to the point where I get frustrated if I'm not running it because I cant see which way the killer is headed after hooking someone...lol

If you wanna see who's being chased, why not run Empathy? Bond doesn't always let you see people, as there are times where people are so spread out that it's impossible. I'd rather run empathy if I run any kind of aura reading perk. I find very few times where bond helped me with anything.

i use it 24/7 - unless im running a meme build / trying something new out.

Helps more with decision making ? IDK, not sure 100% if you go for real in solo 36m are nothing compared to Empathy LEV3 128m. Matches are fast and there is always someone injured running in the map. If i am on the other side on the map i see n-o-t-h-i-n-g with Bond but i can see with Empathy (high % someone is injured) and according the survivor/s movement i move and i do gens.
@Atrushan88 i use Empathy for the same reason. Too many times people spread in the map. Impossible to understand exactly what's happening with Bond. But i understand what's happening with Empathy.

When I started playing I could not play without Spibe Chill. As the time passed my map awareness improved and I stopped using it.
Nowadays I can't play without Kindred. It helps a lot solo survivors like myself to not waste time and to plan the next move more effectively.

Sometimes i run bond just so i know if someone is being chased and they are bringing the killer to the gen im working on.

Bond is where its at. The information it gives can save lives, including your own. It doesn't come with conditions like being on a hook or having to heal someone for it to work.
I don't care who's being chased on the other side of the map.

Spine Chill isn't about map awareness, though? It gives you extra speed, etc, and provides information that often you won't have unless you're in a SWF or incredibly open map.

Bonds range may be more limited but 36 m is still really good. It is also always on and has the higher potential because of it. Empathy will only ever provide more information if multiple survivors are injured at the same time and stay injured for a long time.
Right from the start Bond tells you how many people spawned near you. Empathy does nothing at that point. If you're the first one to be found and chased Empathy does nothing for you. Bond helps you lead the killer away from teammates so they can repair gens unpressured (or lead the killer towards them if one really wanted to be that kind of person). Bond'll always help to avoid sandbagging your team, Empathy not so much.
If you want to find another survivor Bond'll always help with that. Empathy not.
If someone gets hooked Bond and Kindred are typically more useful. Injured survivors should be the last ones going for saves and knowing what the uninjured ones are doing is typically more helpful to coordinate saves and make sure gens are still being done.
Empathy is more helpful at endgame if you want to take a hit for an injured survivor so they can escape or if you're going for altruistic plays in general. Empathy is useless when nobody is injured. Bond may have a more limited range but is also holds a limitless potential in comparison. You can always get value/info out of Bond , you can't with Empathy. Not seeing anyone with Bond is still information, not seeing anyone with Empathy isn't.

I fear anyone taking Bond, normally ends up with a Team-mate using it chase the Killer towards someone else.
