Yes I do actually, it's one of those games where it's both relaxing and challenging.

I prefer games that can be really tough when it wants to be, and DBD offers that from time to time as Survivor and Killer.

Of course, I do wish those tough opponents are more common..

    Yeah

I don't know why I'd be frequenting the forums, paying attention to most DBD news outlets, leaks, and coming up with insane conspiracy theories for why Candyman, Pinhead, and Pennywise are the top three contenders for the next chapter (though really, they aren't all that insane).

Yes I do, I may get upset, frustrated, or angry at dbd from time to time but I always get over that and come back because I love dbd, it can be relaxing, fun, challenging and it can also be a great way to meet amazing people.

Yes, it's the first game I fell totally in love with at first sight. Though as I'm slowly but surely taking the game seriously I have developed a love/hate relationship with it.

    In it's current state? No.

August 2019: Before and during this period? Loved it.

September 2019: Absolutely hated the servers [still do]. Interest started to drop since around this time.

November 2019: Really started to dislike the direction DBD was going.

March 2020: Started to utterly hate DBD. Had to stop playing it for almost a whole 2 months (up till now).

Currently (May 2020): Don't care for the game anymore. Found better things to do.

DBD just isn't fun anymore. Like, at all.

The number one issue is just that you don't feel incentivized to play. I had fun playing with a friend almost non-stop for a week or so. then he got rank one and pretty much just told me he didnt wanna play anymore. I thought it was weird, but now I kinda get it. Were used to competitive games being about getting the highest rank possible. Think MOBAs or games like Hearthstone. But with DBD the goal is fairly achievable, and then going on feels pointless. The game really needs to copy Hearthstone's mechanic where, once you reach rank one, you're rank one for the whole season, but within rank one you can get a numbered rank. This way you can start playing for fun again, without feeling like you're throwing away your rank or, more importantly, you can keep grinding for that higher rank.

I enjoy dead by daylight so yes but there are still things that need to get done so the game can be more enjoyable for survivors and killers.
