The most annoying thing about Dead Hard
It can extend loops with no counterplay. Like if a Survivor messes up a loop or vault they can just Dead Hard to avoid being hit and make it. Even if the Killer knows the Survivor has Dead Hard and is expecting it, sometimes there's nothing they can realistically do about it

yeah .... that is the only effective way of using that perk. It is also nothing new. Just be happy that people still use self-care and haven't figured out yet that Sprint Burst is just way better. I feel your pain though

That's not what I'm talking about at all. I'm talking about the Survivor that gets greedy on a loop and dead hards to the pallet/vault to avoid being hit. The Dead Hard invulnerability isn't saving them the extra distance is getting them to safety. You could swing or not makes no difference they're getting that vault or pallet

The worst thing about Dead Hard is it doesn't work 40% of the time.
Foreign killer? Won't work
Lag? Won't work
Dedicated servers being dedicated servers? Won't work
Cheater? Won't work
Even if it happens to activate, you can still be hit mid-dead hard.

Nah fam. The most annoying thing about dead hard is when it doesnt work. Which is all too frequent.

I know what you're talking about. It is just a classic second chance perk. As survivor you can mess up and still get away with it. For example a chase of 20 seconds can become 40 seconds if you just press E at the right time.

Yeah some loops are so long that it takes like three times around just to drop the pallet... which they can extend to four with dead hard. And go another three if you swing and get pallet stunned. All with no counterplay

It doesn't go away on breaking pallets. Survivors usually just lose LOS long enough to break the chase. If someone sat there and watched you break the pallet you'd keep BL
