Character and camera auto rotates while i try to run straight

Why does my character/camera do a 360 while i try to run straight? It only happens when im being chased by a killer...I try to run straight but my character does a 360 and i get hit everytime..I dont even move my camera and am just pushing the button up so im sure im not the one doing the 360..I only use the look back button.Can someone help me?

    I have never seen or heard this happen , it sounds to me like your controller is messed up , maybe its time for a new one .
