Why do survs run to the killer's shack?
Like I get it... You have same shack on each map and you know how to loop it... door window... door window door window door pallet.
But, if you've been caught you gonna end up in the basement in the most case and then your team mate has to rescue... so you end up with two people on the hook snowball...
I would avoid being caught close to the shack at any cost.

Well shack is a very strong tile and can waste a lot of the killer's time if you run it efficiently, and it has the best pallet in the game so that's a reason.
I tend to not stay at shack for too long only if the basement has spawned in shack. The basement on any map, with shack, has a 50/50 chance of spawning in the main building or in shack.
So looping on killer shack is very good but it's very risky if the basement is there, alot of survivor players dont keep that in mind and they believe they wont go down because it's shack.

I don't mind the shack. I hate it when I'm on Bedham and they always run to the god damn school. Even after the pallets are gone they can use that to loop me for a good while.

I locate basement as killer and survivor before I chase or do gens seeing how easy it is to win and lose based on its position.

Looping shack is a decent strategy, as on most maps there is a 50/50 chance of basement being elsewhere (Shelter woods is the only exception, though).

When in a chase, I tend to run as far away from the basement as I can get, so I'd avoid shack.
When not in a chase, I'll check the shack for basement, to get the chest or do the "basement gen" or totem, if one spawn.

Shack is a guaranteed loop. You know it exists, and you know the exact layout it will spawn in every time. The basement does not always exist at the shack.
