Please, remove huntress until you fix her hitbox
Just had a game, i don't know if the guy were VPNing from Russia or it was just the game, but, these hits, weren't from this world. as example i will tell you what happened, i was playing on the game map, i was running into the stairs and he trowed a hatchet on the other side of the stairs and still hit me.

Huntress can be quite bad at times on normal ping,but vpning is just disgusting lmfao.

Her hitboxes work as intended it's just latency makes what each side sees vastly different

EAC is about to banning people for using 3rd software programs like VPN and yet they didn't do anything about this. Players shouldn't do all an EAC work though.

If you want something removed until it could be balanced properly, more than half the game will vanish. To even ask is ludicrous. You aren't asking for a map to be gone, you are asking for a full character.

At least it might be an option for the Devs to remove the Killer priority when it comes to Hit Detection. I guess they are considering it, so lets hope for the best.

If hit detection wasn't prioritized for the killer, a Huntress would have to aim for some spot that is for them to know where to throw.

Removing a character is idiotic and would severely harm the game. Hit boxes are never going to be fixed so you might as well just get used to them. We can complain all we want, but the dev's won't fix them so get over it tbh.

The easiest solution here is to display the Killer's ping on the lobby screen, allowing you to choose whether or not to leave to find a better match. This is the least malicious form of lobby dodging because it's not based around skill, but an uncontrollable situation that can significantly lessen the health of the game. The higher the ping is, the less room there is for mind games because the killer displays further away than they actually are.

Honestly on the killers end the hitboxes are precise not as extreme as deathslingers but not broad side of a barn. If you have high ping which you can see before a match and maybe during then play and plan ahead in advance once you know the killer is a huntress. If you know you have high ping and play as if you had 20 ping expect to get hit when you feel like you shouldn't

it's not really the hit boxes but the latency what the killer sees on there screen and what the survivor sees are different as there is a delay my advice would be too check your connection to the killer if they have a yellow or red bar you should expect some lag

The hitbox for Huntress' Hatchets are a bit larger than the Hatchets themselves, but that's because Survivors' hurtboxes are pills and they don't fit inside them perfectly.
The reason you're getting hit from around objects is because of a delay in the information relay between your computer, the server, and the Killer's computer.
This is an inherent part of dedicated servers. And there will always be delay because almost nothing travels from point A to point B instantly.
There's no problem here that can be 'fixed', unfortunately.

lol, you're absolutely right. I'm just so used to making that reply when people demand that something be removed from a game (usually a paid character, item, perk, whatever) that I didn't really think about it.
Regardless, I think OP and those who agree with OP should provide some compensation to people who use the Huntress, if they're going to arbitrarily demand that she be removed from the game.
