Hi, first off i am purple rank killer. EVERY game i get into always red rank survivors, and i INSTA LOSE because IM A NOOB and they are a GOD. I only get purple survivors 10% of the time, and I WIN most of the time, see balanced right? I give you proof to show that this game sucks and matchmaking is broken, fix it devs!

Unfortunately life is not fair we can’t get everything we want.

This is perfectly fair. It's normal to get a challenging game every once in a while.

So you prefer going against green ranks? I love playing against red ranks, i can use my knowledge and skills to fight them and this is the best way to improve at the game. You need a challange so you can learn this game better, find other strategies and so on

That is a good mindset, it's just so frustrating getting looped forever at shack, T&L walls, and so on. I just can't be good enough at mindgames, it's so difficult

You think? A Rank 8 against all Reds...that's actually not all that unfair...how about these match ups.? Rank 20, no perks, first game. His survivors? Rank 1, Rank 3, Rank 4, and me Rank 4. Another? Rank 1, Rank 3, Rank 8, Rank 9...killer again was Rank 20. Works other way too. I am a rank 4, my friends were rank 10, rank 7, forgot that randos rank...killer was a Rank 3.

Sure they Rank 20 we played learned much...like maybe how to uninstall the game.

I feel you here, i had a hard time learning how to mindgame every tile in this game. I've had some help with a friend, i told her to loop me at different tiles as good as she can, after a few hours i've got the understanding of every map's tiles.

Bring a friend, make a custom game and try chasing your friend.

Most of the time you have to play with the red stain, a good mindgame can beat every survivor, but they can mindgame you as well.

Are you playing the both sides? You'll get a better understanding of the game that way. Let's say you are playing with Huntress, if you played as a survivor against a huntress, you already know what is in the mind of the survivor that you are chasing because you were in his shoes already.

With that statement you've just told everyone you "can't" be bothered to improve.... You are your own problem with this mindset/attitude. The minute you say "I can't" you've already determined the outcome, so you're sabotaging yourself from improving.

Agreed, however I would say that because of how the emblem system works people just aren't content with "pipping". They want those wonderful iridescents. The community decided that "escaping & 4k" are wins and "pips" are secondary for some reason.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that something about the way you play is not allowing you to reach the next level of gameplay...I mean I don't mean to flame you but you lost with iri head, it doesn't get more OP than that so obviously something's not working with the way you're approaching these games. I tanked for a long time at purple before I could reach red ranks and I only did after pinpointing the things I was doing wrong/inefficiently as a killer. According to your logic there wouldn't be any red rank killers because they would all lose against red rank teams due to bad matchmaking but obviously that's not how things are so...you have two options: adapt and get better or wait for BHVR to fix matchmaking and we all know that ain't happening anytime soon my dude. If you have a way to capture your own games I'd say start there and figure out what you could have done better so you don't keep making the same mistakes. Watch some videos on how to run common tiles and learn when to slug and you'll get better results pretty soon. Also take a look at your builds...most of them don't seem to help your killer's power so you end up with no synergy and no strategy...noed on huntress? why? What does that do to help you?

So there are two (or more) opposite opinions... I agree with...

    1. Going against red ranks makes you more experienced

    2. Tiered to lose against F..n' red ranks

While 1. This is a really great way to get a good chasing experience. 2. Sometimes I just want to win I want BP I want to buy stuff in

blood web. If I am getting matched with red ranks constantly, when almost each of them can loop you through the map...

Match after match after match. This often makes a bad game experience for the killer.

So I want to be in control of this. Give me a checkbox or something which says "Extend matchmaking rank range".

So that I can control if I want to get that red rank experience or matched with peers +/- 3 ranks.

TL;DR; BHVR FIX MATCHMAKING.... NOW! OR I AM GONNA USE NOED!!!!

I'm rank 17 being put up against red and purple ranks, which isn't a challenge, it's a waste of everyone's time, mine and theirs. I can tell they're bored, some have outright DC'd mid-match, and sometimes they'll actually stop running and start trying to farm, but I just cloak and disappear if they start doing that because whether it's out of pity or desperation for BP I just don't have interest in farming; I'd rather take the small amount of points I've earned and move on. Sorry if they depip, but that's on the matchmaking.

Yeah, I've gotten past the "this is unfair" stage and moved on to indifference. Sure, it'd be nice if this got fixed in the near future, but until then I think the survivors I'm put up against suffer more than I do, because I can't depip. It really sucks for killers who can still depip, though, because it just feels like a punishment since you can depip all the way back to yellow ranks and still get put up against the same survivors who are causing you to depip in the first place.
