Is dressing full bloody clothing a mistake?

I don't see many others that often. Does it make me a target for camping? Seems like good camo.

A full bloody Claudette is basically easy mode. You'll be all but invisible on almost every map. I have never know killers to camp and tunnel survivors because they had bloody clothes. Probably why you don't see it that often is, honestly, it's really not worth it. If you want the achievement fine. Other wise you start over and lose all your perks and items for basically nothing. At least in my opinion.

Guess I just don't play with enough survivors that dedicate to one character. I love my full bloody Tapp.

Depends what rank of killer you go against. When I was still in brown ranks bloodied clothing = you get mori'd because I got tired of bloody red ranks with thousands of hours in my newbie matches with full actual perks. In general the lower rank the killer the more likely you'll take a beating in prestige gear.

I haven't seen killers camp because of bloody clothes specifically, but I have seen them bring ebonies for full lobbies of bloody clothing for some reason. But honestly I generally think people just look for an excuse to bring an ebony at any opportunity. "Oh is that a flashlight? Let me grab my ebony", "What? Claudette with full bloody clothing? Time for an ebony", "Toolboxes? Must be BNPs I'm 100% certain, where's my ebony?".

Everyone's saying they don't experience being targeted for your clothing but I've had the opposite--whenever I play full prestige people I get facecamped but whip out the black jacket (which blends in better) on claudette and its fine, or David's beard (god bless), or even Jane's hair from the previous archives.

As killers, it can be really helpful though since it does make you harder to see. This makes sneaking up on people a LOT easier.

Yeah it's not worth getting the bloody clothes. That said, I do have a bloody Claudette shirt, because it's Claudette lol.

I don’t see the reason why would you need an excuse for using ebony lol. I use it whenever I want.

Yeah I slap on the ebony alot these days. Sure, it's OP. But who cares? It's in the game.

And to be blunt, sometimes it's the only way you are ever gonna win. Load into springwood against some 3000+ hour red rank survivors and you are playing clown? You gonna need that ebony, cause just chasing people through the first basement house alone could take 1-2 minutes which will be 3 gens popped.

Only if you're Claudette. Killers seem to loathe the P3 ones.

Its a huge mistake... If you care about fashion. Prestige outfits are ugly as sin and a huge waste of BP.

But from a gameplay standpoint, I couldn't care less.

Me as a Killer I feel extra happy to have downed that p3 Yamaoka Estate Offering Claudette but I don't camp, I just play normal even though it probably means I'll never find her again during the match.

Am I the only one p3ing everything? πŸ˜…

  • Member Posts: 4,082

I never wanted to do it, but for some reason I started with it. After I already got all Perks on every Killer. But I only prestige one Killer at a time.

My goal is now also to get everyone to p3. I have like 70 Tombstone Pieces on my Myers because he is P3.

I avoid giving killers any excuse to focus on me. I don't bring in items, don't use the stale meta perks, dress in normal clothes (not too bright or too dark), don't teabag, etc..

It's not necessarily a mistake to do any of those things, but if it'll help prevent the killer from obsessing over me...

You probably don't see it often because there's tonnes of better looking cosmetics out there. I only see Claudette and Laurie usually with full P3 clothes. Claudette, because immersion! And Laurie, because her cosmetics suck and people gotta flex P3.

As for being targeted just for using bloody clothes? I've never heard or seen this really. People generally ignore the immersed, useless P3 Blendette players because they aren't doing gens and instead choose to self-care somewhere really far away.

Yeah thats what I did too. I got a the killers and survivors up to 40, then a couple killers to p3 and david to p3, now I ve only got 5 killers left then ill do the rest of the survivors.

Ive noticed too that i have to go about a million past p3 before i have enough good perks and add ons too so i do that as well. Only 2 of my killers have ALL tier 3 perks (trapper and fred).

I p3d claudette just because i wanted to have a p3 character but i dont blend and killers just assume im a blendette and tunnel and camp so i was kinda forced by killers to take the actual blendette role. But yeah full blood is good if your claud.

If you played enough to get a bloody cosmetic set chances are you have already gotten enough shards to of bought yourself a better cosmetic. Or... You're a character like Bill, Laurie or Nancy which have barely any cosmetics.
