Least favorite map?

As killer and survivor, for me it's Ormond.

As killer, I can't see scratchmarks, as survivor sometimes it's just hard to know where the window is on certain tiles, they're too confusing (I guess I should study them, but I didn't bother).

What's yours? could be different for killer and surv, it just happens to be the same for me.

Yamaoka Temple (whatever its called) is a little to dark.

Definitely Gas Heaven and Azarov's Resting Place (and basically every other Autohaven Wreckers map).... and Family Residence as well.

Like I mentioned in a previous thread, Gas Heaven is basically an easy win for Survivor and a pain in the rear for Killer. I hate playing on that map on either side!

Azarov's Resting Place is possibly the most Survivor-sided map in the game. If you play against smart Survivors (and aren't playing giga-terror radius proxy-camping Doctor which I seem to go up against too often on that map), they can easily do the right generators and secure an easy win. And when I play Survivor on that map, it's almost always an easy win, unless it's against the Doctor I mentioned previously.

Family Residence is horrible. It's dark, expansive and I almost always seem to play average height killers on that map. Even the most brightly attired Survivors can hide in the grass.... I was hiding easily while wearing the bright blue Nea hair on a game today. I actually like Sanctum of Wrath now that it's smaller and harder to play on as Survivor, but Family Residence needs to be altered badly. You can hardly see scratch marks on that map.... and forget about seeing blood trails unless you're using Bloodhound.

My least favorite will forever and always be Yamaoka. I can’t even begin to explain my dislike for that map.

The worst designed map in my opinion is the stupid Hawkins lab. Every time I get that stupid map as survivor it makes me wanna DC. There are way too many unsafe pallets and the top floor is completely unusable as survivor, besides the generator, which allows stealth killers to sneak up to easily. Plus, as with all indoor maps, survivors cannot see where they can go when looping the killer and either have to keep an image of the map in their head or just run and hope for the best.

Hawkins, Shelter Woods, and Azarov's Resting Place as survivor.

Any corn map, Ormond, and Crotus Prenn Asylum as killer.

Rotten Fields. Every other map got at least some other things than demonic corn.

As Killer I hate Disturbed Ward the most. I used to hate Rotten Fields but it's better now.

As Survivor I hate the Lab and Asarov's.

It's interesting you say that about Asarov's. I personally think its the most killer friendly map in the entire game and is an easy win most of the time. Just find whatever side has a better Gen setup and protect it. Once the pallets are gone in those areas or you have a survivor hooked on your side, it's pretty much over for them. If you're running Pop they are extra boned.

The middle section can be annoying depending on how it's setup and if you play the map normally and don't go for a 3+ gen setup or they are able to break it then yeah, I could see the map being difficult but if you "camp" gens on that map, you are golden most of the time. If the basement happens to be on the same side as well and you get a basement hook, they are just screwed.

I've seen times on Asarov's where 5 gens were all pretty close to one another and it just makes it impossible for them to do anything. If they go too deep in your territory or mess up you can basically camp them to death while protecting all your gens at the same time with the only way they're getting the person off is to hook trade.

    As Killer:

Haddonfield + Ormond by far (please rework Haddonfield)

    As Survivor:

Hawkin's + The Game. Not because they are indoor maps, but because the pallets are usually atrocious and not worth using. I don't mind playing on Lery's.

The Game and any Springwood as survivor, and Haddonfield and any Springwood as killer. I don't hate the Yamaokas but I do constantly just walk past people because I don't see them when on that map

Definitely Lery's and Yamaoka. The first is too small and gives advance to the killer. The second its too dark and gives advance to Survivors. I think this two maps should have a rework..

Are you serious? Hawkins Lab is one of the best killer maps. Try "All Seeying-Blood" with wraith, or even Amanda's Letter with pig or Scratched mirror Myers.

Also all pallets are unsafe, easy to mindgame.

Any indoor map, killer or surv. Also when rolling out my Piggy the Red Forrest map is quite the challenge as well. I end up only doing well there when I am able to snowball off of foolish auteristic plays.
