Remove "dc" penalty lol
Sometimes i keep getting "dc" penalties because "i have no internet", and when i log in it says the match could not been saved or something like that (its an error)...
I mean, we have to deal with unfair dc's that hurt our teammates in games such like battle royales, which is really common. Stop punishing people for the game mistakes.

Is not because someone has crappy internet, its because the GAME errors. How come i only have internet issues in this game, which is also known for having ######### servers? I cant wait for the 24h ban someday for literally no reason. Thanks for your comment though :)

Xbox one, i forgot to mention! Also the dedicated servers works well. Still have no idea of whats happening with this... I also play almost always killer, so you can see this is a free match for everyone once i disconnect.

sorry to hear that, though considering how much the DC option was abused back in the day i really dont think the penalities should be disabled.

Venom is right. I am a killer main and why people should be able to DC without a penalty? If you have a problem upgrade your Internet or just don't play

I know, but you can suicide in hook as survivor anyways, and for killer i dont know why should you dc, just wait for the gens, and open the door yourself if the match was too bad.
However i got DC hatch tech sometimes as killer, that really sucks. But knowing their premade have to wait 5min or 15, that does put a smile on my face :D

TBF, on their dev stream they said that they couldn't reproduce the errors.
They think that it could be hardware related, so it could be a potato pc problem.

In my 2 years of playing I had only been disconnected once this was I believe last Friday or Saturday. I was streaming at the time but that had no affect on my ps because I use 2 different internet connections one to stream and one to game.
So don't get me wrong I do think sometime people get kicked when it isn't their fault, but I do not believe it is enough to warrant getting rid of DC bans. When I got my 5 minute ban I waited it out went into the next game and everything was fine.

They couldn't, or they don't know? This people don't even know how to fix their game, i wouldn't trust any word of these "devs".
It's a shame, this game is the best of it's genre, but they are looking for money, releasing clothes no one asked for, and then making op perks to nerf till dead just to make money the first days... *Sniff Ash.

Ever since the last update, this game been crashing like crazy when I'm killer. 1 outta every 4 matches it would crash, and I'm hard wired by the way. My connection and speed is phenomenal. It's on DBD's end. That's what happens when you cheap out on servers...

They had that question in yesterday's Q&A and the short answer was "Nope we're not removing the penalty" so yeah get a better internet or fix your rig if you crash that much, or play something else that works on dial up internet.
People have been making the "remove penalties" topic since the penalties went live. And yeah, sorry to tell you but they're not going away. The experience in general has been much much better since then. It was annoying seeing people disconnect left and right on both sides, whether it was teammates on survivor, or survivors that couldn't take being found first or whatever while playing killer.

I know right they re not removing it, but i keep saying this is the GAME'S fault and not my internet's but no one listens to me lol. Thanks for your comment :)

u forgot about killer stealing items: equip franklins, hit surv with said item (either flashlight or key) and then dc.
No penalty for the killer, item loss for the survivor (even better if the survivor dropped a white ward).
@OP: use an app on your phone to check your connection while playing. Just to confirm that its not your internet connection. Is your xbox connected via WiFi? Thats also smth that you should have a look at.
The reason why no one adresses that its the game fault is, that its an online server. It will always respond unless you have no connection to it (or maintenance/update). If you'd play on pc, that might be different but every xbox is just the same and there arent other people reporting this exact issue. Its way more likely to be an issue on your end, either bc of your network or internet connection.

Well, honestly it might be the game, God knows this game has a lot of bugs.. but from what I saw, most people complaining about the penalties are the same who used to disconnect multiple games in a row and also the reason the penalties were added in the first place. Sorry if I have troubles believing everyone making this topic ;)

Lol is okay! I understand you. You can see up there people defending the game thinking its great, and saying i should buy a new internet lol! They defend the game like they re getting paid for it haha. Good day!
