Turn penalties off until you fix the servers.
Second time in two days I get a time penalty cause I got kicked out of the server. "Disconnected from the host"
The game has been terribly lag this past week. Survivors and killers have been blinking all over the place, it's a mess.
Turn off penalties only until you fix the server.

Servers work fine for the vast majority of people. I wouldn't worry about it. At least rage quitting is down, which is a big plus.

Penalties and serves are fine. It's yours problem. I had 50mbs internet and I was kicked from the game. 2 weeks before I updates my Wi-Fi to 100 and now it's fine

You telling me a 50 mbs connection is not enough to play this spaghetti coded game?
Holy crap, I've seen fanboys in the past, but you just take the gold.

I like the penalties, I just don't like receiving a punishment due to a problem that's on their side.

The people at Blizzard, Ubisoft, EA, namco, WB, must be doing some kind of sorcery then, cause I play all their online games just fine.

Yeah. It's called they actually spent the money on high-end servers. I've played a lot of online games recently after taking a break for a bit: Back to Overwatch, Left 4 Dead 2, Friday the 13th, Paladins, Dead by Daylight, and others. And good god, DbD has the worst servers. I thought the servers for Heroes of the Storm were bad, but the DbD servers make them look like Overwatch servers.
And I have top of the line internet, with my Desktop plugged into it, not Wi-Fi, so it isn't me. It also isn't me when even L4D2 servers are more consistent than DbD servers.

Turn servers OFF and keep DC Penalties.

Sadly it's truth. First before I download Dead By Daylight I had 25mps Internet. My little brother plays Fortnite and with 25mps he had 60ms. Sometimes he was too laggy but he could play. After 1 month we upgraded to 50. In 50mps he was playing normally on 60ms without lag. After months I download Dead By Daylight. If I had my phone opened and my PS4 I had 800ms. If I had only the PS4 connected I had 290ms. If I had my phone connected and my PS4 and I choose survivor in the menu I couldn't join. Now that I upgraded my Internet I don't have problems. With my phone open and my PS4 I have only 100ms. Sadly if I steal have my phone closed I have only 90ms...

You should probably check your connection. Your provider might not be providing you with the speed you hired.

I think just like it is important to distinguish a disconnect of someone who is intentionally disconnecting on purpose vs someone who legitimately got kicked out and with an error message.
It is annoying to say the least and quite frankly the servers they have, are causing many issues for players.

I've like 16mbps download and 5mbps upload internet speed and the game is working fine, and it's usually 50-90 ms ping and sometimes it's like 300+ms ping but that depend on server location and still no DC.

There is still a huge amount of hook suicides.
