Not necessarily. A survivor would still be able to stop regression relatively fast, it just wouldn't happen by quickly tapping M1 next to a gen without getting into the gen repair animation. This would basically just be combating survivors that are trying to rush one particular gen & just gen tap it to stop regression in the killer's face. They get away with this because they can easily tap a gen as they are running & dont receive a slow down at all. This basically rewards them with stopping regression & still having time to make a safe loop nearby. If this time to stop regression was about 1 second then I don't see how it would have much of an effect on Pop Goes the Weasel.

Also to say that you have to waste a perk slot to fix a broken game mechanic is stupid.That's a bandaid fix if i have ever seen one. You shouldn't have to use a perk to fix a broken game mechanic because the game mechanic should already he fixed without the need of perks
