So where are all these "toxic genrushing" swf?
Im rank 8 practicing piggy and huntress and have only gotten genrushed once in 20 games. Am i lucky or are genrushing swf not as common as everyone claims they are?

They exist, they're just a lot rarer than people like to make it out to be. Killers who can't accept all 4 survivors escaping like to exaggerate.

I really don't know what people consider "genrushing" anyway.
The goal of survivors is to do generators. If they do it well, it goes fast. If not, it goes slow. Complaining about it seems silly. It's my job to stop them, not ask them to go slower.
(As for toxic survivors, well that's almost every game, so eh.)

I faced a group yesterday. First time against full rank 1's. I presume they were SWF, but it's possible they weren't (I suspect they were at least 2 SWF though because one of them had OoO and they seemed to always know where I was.) It wasn't pleasant. Almost got all of them after slugging three, but they all got picked up and I made the mistake of going for a hook instead of leaving them slugged. (They also used a Asylum Map Offering... my least favorite map) But it was the only (Possibly) SWF team I faced. I didn't take my anger out on the rest of the survivors I went up against. Even giving the hatch the next game. If I see them again though, I'm bringing EVERYTHING against them.

I mean, if they thought for a second that it would work, they'd do it.
I've said before that the game is largely predicated on the idea that the survivor goals are the primary gameplay focus. Killers are primarily there as an obstacle to those goals, not necessarily to have goals of their own.
It's why survivors are constantly mad about everything killers do. Because killers aren't viewed as playing the game, but as preventing others from doing so.

I am usually rank 1 i dropped to rank 8 so i can practice piggy and huntres but Matchamking is horrible that red rank survivors play like rank 20s. Almost everygame is an ez 4k

I was usually rank 1 when i played billy It wasent that hard. only reason i deranked was because i had no perks on huntress and piggy.

That's about right. Any decent genrush SWF will probably all be rank 1-2, considering how easy it is to pip as survivor. Do 1 save, do 1 gen, run the killer for 30~ seconds....ok you pipped as a red rank survivor.
Almost every game feels like a genrush to me at red ranks, where survivors spawn in and all 4 immediately start to work on gens, and won't move until they are finished. 1 gen for 1 hook at the start of the game is pretty much standard, even if the first chase goes extremely well.
If you claim to not have been genrushed in the past 20 games, then you are probably winning them all and are not at the rank you are supposed to be near.

What do you mean that they "were not genrushing"? Did they intentionally go slower? Were you watching them sit down and have a picnic?

i see them all the time and i play with my 4 man group and we literally do that to every killer is not a fun experience for most killers tbh, there are a lot of 4 man SWF rushers. i also play at rank 1 and i see them as killer but i dont usually get rushed cause im a good killer and i play disgusting if i need to in order to win i dont care tunneling, slugging and do whatever it takes in order to win.

The same people: Bro you're rank 8, try playing against rank 1 survivors. And if you 3 or 4k against rank 1 survivors it's only because those were the boosted ones

Survivors just dont do gens because there crouching in the corner of the map selfcaring. Boosted survivors make it to red ranks make 4ks so easy for me and since i rarley get swf its almost always ez 4ks

they say that because toxic gen rushers usually pip every game so they are going to be in rank 1 most time, ranks doesnt matter but SURELY most of good players are gonna be in rank 1 mixed with bad players because simple reasons, bad survivors are not gonna be at purple ranks most time

Ok, so what you're describing is just poor play.
Survivors will do gens as fast as they can. That's their goal. Some survivors manage their time poorly, are overly cautious, or whatever. But they're all still going to be doing gens as fast as they think they can.
When you say, "I didn't get genrushed." it's a non-statement. They're always going to be going as fast as they can, it just might not be fast enough.

Keep in mind you are also basing this off using Billy...one of the arguable best killers in the game with one of the best map pressure abilities. Not exactly "average" matches you are going by in other words. Play more of the m1 killers.

That i agree with. I do think the problem is a little overstated. But those games highlight the flaws in the underlying mechanics that even solos can "exploit" (i put that in quotes because i dont mean theyre doing anything wrong) if they decide to. All you need is 4 people working on seperate gens at all times and the overall match will fly.

Rank shows how much you play. I wanna know how much survivor he plays since he claims gens always pop in 5 minutes agaisnt a "sweat with friends" with 4 crutch perks when in reality the whole game can be lost if you have one baby survivor on your team in solo q

But it is meaningless. It's constantly being reset, so it's never a true indicator of skill. How easy it is to pip varies wildly depending on what killer you are playing. There are massive skillgaps between different rank 1 survivors. Some just hide and do gens, and that's enough. Other can kinda loop, and rely on 4x second chance perks. Others are complete gods who are borderline untouchable at certain tiles unless you want to lose the game chasing them through it.
So coming in and saying genrush doesn't happen when on average even a rank 5-6 killer will hold W at me in chase, never mindgame, respect pallets hard, and is still relying on NOED for kills is kinda silly.

Swf is op i agree with you there.
But solo q is balanced yet killer still cry for nerfs to gen speeds or perks for solo q even tho most of the time solo q is a guranteed 4k if matchmaking works.
Both sides cry equally you cant act like survivors are "entitled babies" but killers are all fair and never ask for unreasonable nerfs.

I took a survey of my games. I saw someone else on here do that, so I thought it would be interesting to do. I realized that killers win often. Out of 84 games playing solo survivor, the killer 4k'd 30 times. 3k'd 16 times, 2k'd 14 times, 1k'd 12 times and zero k'd 12 times. So, to me, the killer is getting ahead a lot more often than survivors.

Also, have to keep in mind most people's experiences are going to be different based on platform, region, and time of day. So that an individual's experience cannot be a measure for others experience. Some regions are apparently more competitive than others, and I can even experience that based on time of day in my region.
If I jump on a play killer on a Saturday afternoon on PS4 I'm usually going against pretty weak teams, possibly younger players that got the game for free when it was a game of the month for PSN+. Now if I jump on and play killer during prime time, say 8pm I start getting several more full Rank 1 survivor teams and will run into a few of the SWF's I know based on usernames and conversations. If I based my experience during the afternoon hours quick generators would be a rare occurrence, based on night hours quick generators would be closer to the norm.

Well you should start running into them very soon. Most of them are at red ranks.
Play at nights or on a weekend for better chance.

Last night I got cried to for "tunneling" because:
I hooked a Claudette.
Then ran across the map to pressure a gen, caught the guy there, and hooked him.
Saw a failed skill check at another gen, ran to it, and the Claudette was still on the gen when I got there.

I play equal amounts of Survivor and Killer. I have over 2200 hours on this game. I only just recently hit red rank Survivor.
If rank shows how much you play then Mcote is the next Killer.

Well i dont know if they are swf. But some survivors are definetely try to gen rush, but i cant say of course they are in a swf.
But idc if i see 4 toolboxes i use my sweet Sweet noed.
And the people who gen rush are always the people who complain in the endgame chat about tunneling.
Like why should I go for someone healthy when you are injured and choose to not get heal so you can finish the gen?

Only playing solo, doing totems instead of gens, never running Decisive so the Killer gets to sweat me down for free, deliberately running low-tier Perks like Babysitter and Breakout because they're more fun than the meta, no one doing gens while I loop, honest mistakes made while playing, people going down immediately and DC'ing/hook suiciding, et cetera.

To be honest if a killer is good in terms of awareness and map knowledge, it’s almost too easy. Especially with a high mobility killer. It’s almost unfair because it is possible gens just don’t get done. You throw in an ebony Mori or op add ons and it’s kinda frustrating to play. They just nerf survivors and force you to use a perk to regain that nerf. Whereas killers don’t suffer the same fate with each passing update. Yeah early on you get rushed a little playing killer, you might feel some pressure early game, but killers have the upper hand towards the end of the match and most often in red ranks I don’t escape. Which is fine, you can still pip. But what makes me mad is the fact that killers still have ebony Mori’s and tunnel and camp like they don’t give a damn about gens. Meanwhile that survivor that got Mori’d tunneled and camped loses rank. That’s not fun for people. I don’t understand why they don’t acknowledge that better. But Then killers....they complain when the plan backfires and all gens are done.
