Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Can BHVR take some time to fix the game and do some proper balance instead of releasing dlcs?

I get it dlcs make people interested in the game but what's the point of them if the game you got interested in its a mess riddle with bugs,i'm so sick of rank update error and random errors while i'm waiting with someone in the lobby, not only that but the gamebreaking bugs that makes you lose a match are the bigger problem, cant they take a dlc worth of time and fix their damn game,it doesn't matter if new players try the game, when they see how big of a mess it is,they will stop playing soon after.

I'd really like to jump back into the game full-ham and go all-in on an outright gaming spree again. But this game has gridlocked itself with too many rules and everything becoming too "Watered-down". I have a feeling it has to do with Nintendo Switch having this game. I noticed the same with Overwatch as well. Suddenly they get a say in what happens in this game.

I get it. THe money is nice to have. But Nintendo needs to stick with their puppy dogs and kittens style of marketting. While the big boyz play our PC games such as DOOM and other amazing violent video games.

As a Nurse main I feel you, there can certainly be a lot of bugs. We just have to be patient while they work on it.

    very patient.

They make money if they release dlc because we have to pay for that. They don't make money by balancing the game cause it's free(for us). It's the sad truth.

And i doubt this forum is either. Rather a depository of passionate words to sift through for the rare practical idea to consider, as I see it.

    Devs: keep doing you

Gamers: pipe down and be patient

They can add the most amazing killers and survivors in the game,it wont matter if the game itself its an unplayable mess.Hackers, bug poor balance, missing basic settings, poor optimization you name it.

I saw someone mention something about Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege having huge issues causing the game to die out and loose many players but they dedicated to only fixing the game and no DLC for a while. It is now one of the most popular FPS and doing very well. Maybe this game should do that honestly.

Console players been waiting for bug and fps fixes since it was ported to us back.. ######### I can't even remember. Pepperidge farm proly remembers.

With as much money a lot of folks here have paid for I would think after 4 years they would have fixed a lot of the issues yet here you telling people who have supported the game since day one to be patient lol dude sit and spin.

Let's tally the support by a heavy chunk of the player base,

    1. Main game

    2. Dlc packs

    3. Cosmetics

    4. Rift passes

Those alone is like buying the main game five times over.

There are plenty of people who spent absurd amounts of money on this game and yet here we are with nurse bugs and match making being a crap shoot and nea who still looks like a walking valtrax add.

To top it off we get asstastic dev streams where they refuse to answer questions and devs on the forum who ######### post replys lol.

Not spending nothing till this gets fixed.

The devs can be patient about getting anymore cash out of me.

And if your company is that awful that they drag ass to make a finished product then you sir or ma'am work for a garbage company.

Not gonna happen. More content>more sales>more cosmetics for characters. Pretty sure they just have a constant flow of new players, who are not aware about the state of this game and buy their cosmetics and dlc before eventually leaving.

But as how companies work, as long as you spend money it's their win, the Nea part made me laugh bad, the QnA's are really bad I will support you on that, it feels like they pick things that no one cares.

I get that skipping a dlc and fix everything would be better, look at how much R6S fixed, but I don't think dbd is losing players (I said I think, not confirmed).

But I just saw what the dev said, I really didn't expected that answer, I'm just saying it is what it is, players telling devs to do something isn't the way how company works you should know that.

They promised 60fps on console, it never became a thing rn it runs in about 20-25fps.

One of the best posts I read in a very long time (not sarcasm, I'm serious)

Be patient for another 4 years or for how long do you except a playerbase to wait for fundamentals AFTER THEY SUPPORTED the devs with the main game, DLCs, cosmetics, rift passes and streaming the game?

Also how the hell do you think bhvr is a small group? According to my researching bhvr interactive has nearly 500 employees. Obviously not all of them are working for dead by Daylight but majority is since that's currently their main business.

Oh and btw lets don't forget how they generated so much money out of dbd that they kept deathgarden alive for multiple times while it was basically dead and had no revenue.

I think you don't really know.

I mean look at League of Legends, they were running strong with about half their roster being broken, either overpowered or completely useless. They only started dishing out like 1 rework a year, and they only updated their map after like 5 years of that ugly mess of a map.

Devs want to fix some things but this game is built on slightly better spaghetti coding. It's still spaghetti coding. I mean look at every update, it comes out with more and more bugs, and then they have to work out the bugs.

And I imagine most of those bugs are something like, "Someone made a note here but instead that note turned into partial coding, we need to now find the note and delete it and hope that deleting it doesn't delete a significant portion of the code. Whoops Canada is being invaded by polar bears again, I guess we're screwed. But hey Gerald over here made a new Killer, hopefully that'll keep the polar bears at bay for a while."

This game does not deserve its popularity, there are so many bugs, sometimes you cant even get in a match because of a bug, sometimes you cant get out because of them.Fix your game!

500 Employees is like 1/4th of a standard AAA Gaming Company like Rockstar and Capcom.

Not to mention, those 500 employees might not all be programmers, some of them are artists, map designers, writers, concept artists, or even Janitorial Staff.

I agree Deathgarden was a mistake and they could've moved their resources elsewhere, but trying to keep a game alive is sort of a thing game developers would want to do. Because they don't want all of those hours wasted because the game failed or the company is failing (Look at PAYDAY 2).

Just saying, put it into prespective with other game companies and also realize not everyone in that company would be working ON the game's code, but rather creating the assets that make up the whole game.

I literally can't play Doctor on console because all his effects make the frame rate get destroyed.

Yeah, I've noticed the frames start skipping bad when I do his blast. Had a Claudette in front of me once when I did it, she then just vanished, turn around, and she's running about 15m away from me now. pRetTy gOoD jOb sO fAr!

O.o I don't mean what I'm about to say at all but you left yourself open.....

We can tell Nintendo didn't tell you how...

It would of had far less bugs if they did lol

Sorry had to say it =p love you guys and thanks for the hard work you all do

If these devs worked for the company i work for they would have problems keeping their job for more than 2 months, judging by the plethora of bugs they introduce with each patch and the fact they fail to maintain a clean code.

4 years out on the market, a lot of income sources for this game and still a mess. They had enough time, and the flame they get is deserved (all except the art team which are doing their job)

I agree,a few bugs its ok,but this game is riddle with all kinda of bugs, lag freezes, disconects, crashes and so on,not to mention they have the worst anticheat ever that sometimes can bsod your computer.
