Started playing killer again. I am noticing some crazy things?
Hey. I play on PS4. I was a rank one survivor about two months ago and stopped playing for a while. I came back and started going hard on killer. So I played against a few red and purple players at rank 16 and 17, figured swf, it happens. Once I hit rank 11 apparently its thunderdome? I play almost all swf red rank teams. So I am now just getting destroyed and shifting between rank 9 and 10. All red ranks, all the time. Get looped twice, down the person, hook em, 2-3 gens are done. Its kinda insane. What happened to the game where the only killers left are apparently green ranks? I don't wanna just run mori's and NOED all the time and dumb stuff like that.

Match making is a little off right now. Theyre testing a new system.
If youre new to killer part of the issue is going to be perks, you dont have the good ones yet. All you can do is keep grinding and try and get better, but even with good perks what you described is going to happen, what you do after that and what they do after that determines the outcome

Xbox here, I've seen the same. I mean I thought I wouldn't have too much trouble since I could sometimes get a pip against the one or two or sometimes three reds I would face in higher rank lobbies. When I hit red and every survivor was also red all of the time, I couldn't do much but break even on pips.
It as probably as it should be.. I mean if I could outplay 4 players at least as good as I am who are also in game chat to coordinate, then higher ranks would be a cake walk.
Still sucks though.

Swat team swf are gonna happen alot, match making is very broken right now so you kinda have to take the abuse or switch back to survivor.
I tend to jump back and forth between killer and survivor.
Due to match making killer is very not fun
Thus I do not play by the survivor rule book and I will play as hard as I can. Sometimes I get 0-1k some times 3-4k
Bring a mori if they look sweaty and take what ever advantage you can. The survivors will not show you mercy as 90% of the time they expect a rank 17 to stomp on.

yeah, I was a rank 6 a few months back. got 3/4 of the killers at lvl 50 and beyond. I use what I assume is powerful perks. But yeah, if killer is getting shafted then it happens I guess.

Ya there is a reason we get atleast two new match making threads each day. We'll see what the devs solution will do. If it's hidden I suppose that's just a way to shove it under the rug and not actually deal with it. We shall see I suppose.
