Where are you lot ranking Myers now that he's back?
I'm loving his return, he's such a solid killer. I personally think he's currently 6th best killer slightly above Huntress after Spirit, Nurse, Oni, Hag and Billy.
I just love how strong he can be in chases, but how he's not overwhelmingly strong if you can outsmart him, which leads to the better player winning the chases. What are your thoughts on Myers?

Without addons, either very top of mid tier or bottom of high tier for me. He is improved in chases, but you can still loop him pretty much the exact same, he just punishes your mistakes a lot more and you might not make some windows you ordinarily would. He has no ways of traversing the map faster, and in fact overall does it slower than the majority of killers. However he does have some early game stealth (although usually pretty useless for him) and incredible snowball potential. He is pretty good if used right but I definitely wouldn't place him 6th personally.

Personally I think he’s mid tier. I’m sure exactly what you mean by strong in chases. Do you mean his tier 3 lunge and vault? While those are powerful he doesn’t have it for most of the game. Problem with Myers is that for a large portion of the game he’s just an M1 killer. I thinks that pretty rough. There’s also the beginning of the game in which he is very weak. Getting out of tier 1 against good survivors can be really challenging if they know where you can and can’t stalk them. Though obviously he does have his tier 3 which is very powerful but survivor can opt to either split up or play immersed during it. Personally I wouldn’t him at 6th most powerful. That would be putting him above Freddy, Ghostface and Doctor who I believe are all much better. The most comparable example is Ghostface. I think Ghostface is just far better. His marking is much quicker then Myers. He also has the ability to turn off his terror radius and the ability to crouch. The crouch ability gives him something to work with in chases even when he can’t use his power unlike Myers.

He's barely alive but he's functional at least. But for me he goes just below Plague. The most "slightly above average" killer in the game. Not the best at chases but a small terror radius, meh snowball potential, can end a chase before it even starts with a 99'd tier 3 on a sleeping survivor if you really wanna be that guy.
...yeah it's just Myers. He's always just been "good", nothing more nothing less.
Still not maining him again though, his stalking is still quite scuffed sometimes.

Myers is a fun boy. Stabby Stabby. Think he's in a solid place. If you play well, you can win, if you don't you lose. Pretty much how it is with most killers. Average killer well worth playing.

That’s fair. I’d have him around 6th as well just ahead of Huntress and Freddy. Although I’m still back and forth between the 3. Happy to share my tier list soon, gonna have a lot of love put in to it.
He still out classes a lot of other killers because of his snowball effect. He’s also not as map dependent like a Huntress would be. With adding simple killer knowledge, like when to do a certain chase or not, he’s extremely good.

Wait Myers was gone?
I’d rank him at mid tier.
Positives: His stealth can be a gamechanger. He can take the Survivor by surprise and either stalk them, grab them, or swing at them. Tier 3 can turn the game around in a matter of seconds.
Negatives: He has no anti-loop aside from his tier 3. His stealth can be negated at areas with little to no cover. If you can see him coming and you can get to a decent loop, he’s going to have a harder time unless he can reach tier 3.

Where'd he go? I didn't realize Myers dropped at all in popularity.

I still think he is a Mid Tier Killer.
Low Mid Tier at that. Mainly because while he is amazing at Snowballing like Oni, stalking takes up way too much time in my opinion, making him rather add-on reliant.

He’s talking about how Myers stalk was broken.

I don't know. I think I'd say mid tier too...but has a lot of potential in the right hands. You can say that about almost any of the non garbage killers though. His stalk is good for the Blendettes and Urban Evaders, especially on certain maps. Not sure if it was always like that, but he's really good on Yamaoka Estate where they like to hide in the grass. I played him a long time ago and thought he was garbage (I prioritize speed or range) and I got two 4ks in a row when I used him yesterday. First 4k in a good while,if I'm being honest. For me it's easier to see which ones aren't good as opposed to ranking who is the best lol.

He was super bugged for a while.

Myers was at one point a top tier killer but more killers have released after him that are simply better like Huntress, Spirit, Plague, Oni, and Deathslinger. Then the Freddy and Doc rework pushed them a lot further up the tier list.
At BEST I put Myers a spot below Plague. I think Myers has one of the best snowball potentials in the game and is a great killer but he is very susceptible to being pallet looped. He has no way to cut off pallet loops. He can easily negate window loops with his faster vaulting speed (especially with Bamboozle) though.
I think Myers is still a great killer but he has no map pressure and no way to stop pallet loops, he has to rely on snowballing the entire team which is harder for him than it would be for a killer like Oni.

You think Deathslinger and Huntress are better? I've always seen Myers as better than Huntress tbh purely because of his power's nature, and by default Deathslinger too. Doc is strong now, but he's not as good as Myers imo.

Fair enough. I still think Myers is one of the best though.

Freddy, Doctor, Plague and Huntress are still better than him. Maybe Ghost Face as well.
So I guess I would still put him in mid tier. His power is still outdated and he still gets outclassed by Oni in pretty much everything except stealth ( which it's not even that good ). I feel like he might need something, but I don't know what.

Myers is an excellent killer. Definitely high mid tier. He has tremendous snowball potential, and unlike Ghostface he is not robbed of his stalking power simply by staring at him or loses his stalk progress if he hits a survivor.
He's one of the most versatile killers when it comes to builds. I still see people coming up with new fun builds for him.

Huntress can snowball at any point in the match and Myers has to hope they’re all grouped up when he pops his EW III. Plus Huntress has very wonky hatchet hitboxes so she’s basically throwing refrigerators at survivors. Huntress is just better in a chase than Myers is. An average player will do better with Myers but if it’s a GOOD Huntress played to her full potential then she’s going to win more frequently.
And I think Deathslinger is better than Huntress is.
If anyone ranked Myers above Doc I wouldn’t disagree. They’re interchangeable to me personally.

Actually, fair point. Huntress has almost unlimited potential, hence why she's pretty much everywhere in tier lists. She's similar to Nurse in that sense. But if her hitboxes were accurate... Then I wonder if she'd even be played, or if she'd become like Nurse: strong in the right hands, weak in the wrong hands.
But Deathslinger definitely isn't better than her imo, I highly doubt that. He's only good for 1v1s and sneaking up on survivors.
To me, I'd put Myers (still because I also think Myers has a lot of potential too, but is easier to play) above Huntress, then it's Freddy (don't think Freddy is as good as Huntress or Myers tbh) then it'd probably be 'Slinger then Doc. But that's my opinion of course.

I wouldn't put Deathslinger in that league at all. I'm kinda surprised. I feel like he's almost completely useless against a survivor that knows anything. Slow ish. One shot then reload. Spear can be cancelled or just not hit,for a million different reasons. It's definitely not like having multiple hatchets.

But, if the 'Slinger is precise, he can be a huge threat.

He`s weak IMO, relies on bad survivors feeding you stalk, some maps make it worse and decent survivors can counter him pretty well. like hes not a bad killer i just dont see him as strong as others, plus he still has stalking bugs so i wont touch him
0 -
They fixed the bugs, I think. Also, no good survivor can evade a Myers for THAT long, not with how open most the maps are, and he can stalk through tall grass and corn.

I guess it depends on the person and the build. I just wouldn't put him at high tier,at high rank play. Everyone obviously goes from their own experience. Personally I feel like he was super good until people learned how to go against him. You can't stun the Huntress just because she threw a hatchet, and cancel the hatchet at the same time,to top it off. You know what I mean? Plus you have multiple hatchets before a restock, unless you are using Iri's. If he could fire more than one shot before having to reload,I'd definitely have a way higher opinion. I don't even like using him anymore and I prestiged him once or twice, lol.

Yeah, I think Huntress is way better anyways, just that Deathslinger can be really lethal in the right hands.

True for most killers, except a few. To me it's honestly easier to say which ones are bad than to rank the best. If I made any kinda list it'd have separate parts. Like I'd put Clown and Cannibal low, which most may agree with...but I'd put nurse low too, but not necessarily because she's bad, just hard to use,and can be frustrating. I honestly think I would put Michael near the top. Just not the very top. Ghost Face is a tough one. He's another that's real good if you are. He's a bit easier to knock out of stealth though. Usually with Michael you're gonna score a hit before he tiers down. Wonder if anyone does tier lists with just "adept" builds. Like which ones are good with just their starter perks? I'd still say Spirit would be high on that list or any other one.

thats what i thought but they still exist, you can end up losing 50% of a tier from it. and you cant evade any good killer for ages but myers is all about getting his stalk up, there are so very many loops which you can use easily without giving him much stalk such as jungle gyms, killer shack and just some common loops he cant stalk over. all wastes his time massively, cool killer and can be strong but i wouldnt say he`s a high ranking killer compared to some others sadly
0 -
If a Mike is following a survivor into a jungle gym at EW1, they're going to lose regardless.
0 -
Well yeah but good survivors arent gonna be out positioned, and even at tier two he needs alot of stalk to be something better than an M1. i personally dont feel any killer is bad, just against better survivors i wouldnt say myers is at the top. hes good but there are many other picks before him sadly. but i play all killers so once his stalk bugs are fixed he`ll be back in my rotation

What was the bug? Was it his stalk?
