Okay so firstly, censor the names because it violates forum rules.
That's about all I could understand there was their name. What the ######### are they saying?
EDIT: I would like to clarify the current post is not what it used to be, hence my response- and all the responses above mine.

Maybe it is bannable if you go out of your way to kill the other player, unless your killer then go right ahead. 😊😊😊

Depends: If your the killer its ok to do(Killers have sole digression on who they target).
If your a survivor on a hook letting themselves be sacrificed to try to give the other survivor the hatch then its ok.
If you DC as a survivor to give another survivor the hatch then its NOT ok.
If you purposely work with the killer to kill your teammates as a survivor so you can have the hatch then its NOT ok.

@Abrahan343 to add to the above for clarity's sake, it's only okay as the killer if you didn't work with the survivor to find and kill their teammate. For example, if you spare Meg and she leads you to Dwight's hiding spot, you kill Dwight and give Meg the hatch, that is not okay because it's working with the opposing team to gain an advantage. However, if you found Dwight on your own, killed him and then found Meg and let her have the hatch, that's totally okay.

thanks now I have everything clear :)

It's not

What's the advantage here though?
One still escapes...

The advantage is that you get to find and kill Dwight with no effort on your part. The actions of both Meg and the killer are bannable in that situation.

Don't see how it's bannable.
The killer is not a friend of the survivor and can use them if he wants. It's not worse than camping and tunneling.
And the survivor can be scummy and give away other survivor's locations if they want. Same as sandbagging. It's an ######### move , but there's no rule saying you can't be an ass to other survivors. It's not worse than unhooking in front of the killer with no BT and no intention to take a protection hit.
And not to mention I've see a big streamer literally point to a locker where a survivor was and that got them killed. They were not banned.
The only "teaming" that can get anyone banned is when the killer is a friend of the survivor. Or if the killer kills all the survivors while completely ignoring that one survivor multiple times for the whole game, or that survivor leads them to others all the time and the killer kills them all but doesn't touch this one survivor. If it happens only in the end when there are only 2 left then it would be really weird to ban that but not ban people who point at lockers on purpose and the killer actually checks them and the survivors inside get killed. Again , I've seen a streamer do that multiple times cause he was pissed at them hiding all the time, and he was never banned.
The killer would never get banned for letting one of the last 2 lead them to the last survivor. And the survivor would not be banned for being a jerk.
If you got no video or some proof of someone actually getting banned for doing this (and I'm talking about what OP said, not teaming for the whole game) to prove me wrong then I think we are done.

No it's not bannable. It's your choice if you want to give the last person the hatch.

It's not actually a debate, that is the rule. Ask a member of the community team if you don't believe me.
If you insist on proof, though, I don't have a video, but I do have someone's testimony: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/146244/my-last-words/

Yeah , I would love someone from a community team to tell me that's what got this person banned. Because that person saying that they got banned for what they were asking in a different thread doesn't really prove that it's the actual reason. They didn't show the message that told them what they were banned for. For all we know they didn't even get banned and are still playing. A testimony on a forum that has no screenshots and consists of only them saying that they got banned for teaming is not really proof.
So how do I get an answer from a member of the community team? I would ask them if I knew how.

It makes very little rational sense for him to be lying, especially since he went to the effort of making a goodbye video to post on YouTube and everything, but I suppose that's beside the point. If you would like clarification around the game's rules, you can tag someone like Mandy or Luzi, but bear in mind that they are very busy and may not be able to respond right away.
