“Lover’s Postcard.” Hmm?
Thanks to detective Paulie there was a screenshot of new offerings in DBD mobile called lover’s postcard and it’s really similar to the postcard Ben gives Beverly with the love poem written on it.
Do you think this means anything or could it just be a coincidence? 🤔

googled it and I would have agreed if the postcard would also picture a Ferris Wheel, but the only similarity is that it’s a postcard as a love letter it seems..

I'm pretty certain it is just a coincidence, mainly because why would they make that offering available now rather than when the chapter is actually released? Having worked in a project and for it's PR before, I know the one thing you want to do is cram as much hype as you can for one day and then sustain it for the next couple of weeks.

It's a judgement call. If you think that BHVR is this sloppy, it's Pennywise. If you think that they're trolling (which I do), it's a red herring.

This is 99% a coincidence. A new offering for a licensed dlc wouldn't be released as mobile exclusive. (Character experience is only earned on mobile).

In the dark tower, there is an abandoned amusement park with an arch that reads "Pennywise"
I honestly can't remember if there's an amusement park scene in the book or the OG mini series.
In the modern version, the postcard has a picture of the derry standpipe.

It's probably just like the anniversary wedding ring on PC and console to celebrate a mobile devs relationship, I highly doubt it has anything to do with chapter 16 since it's only on mobile so it probably means nothing but something personal to one of the devs

I highly agree. Maybe someone proposed on a Ferris Wheel or something. I feel like people are going to be really surprised come this week. I bet you it's just none of the ones people are thinking of. I have a feeling it's just something completely off the wall. 4 years is a long time to have this kind of dedicated player base for this sort of game. They are probably really loving all of this.

True that. But given that they've built up some hype to this chapter that would be a huge gaffe. Not putting it past them but I have my doubts.

- it could be really pennywise
- it is a fake information

I mean I remember very clearly when the devs have been sloppy in the past. Just a casual match of kyf and I notice three perks belonging to an unreleased "Ashely J. Williams." Basically what I'm saying is, it could very well happen again.

Why would they release a generic offering to promote licensed content, though? It doesn't really make sense.
