The Killers Court! (Camp stories)

So I've gotta ask all those "scumbags" who play killer and camp a question and that's could you share your camp stories like what happened that made you have to and did you get any hate filled messages afterwards? Now I wanna share my story quite recent too but the survivors I argued with said some pretty dumb things...so be warned you may lose a braincell or two.

Now let me set up the scene I'm on console PS4 eew I know and to make matters worse I'm on console playing the Nurse which horrible I mean if you think Nurse on PC is hard to play console she is just terrible but we'll get back to this in a moment and so here I am playing Nurse and about a few mins in I find and hook a survivor which is cool and all but I noticed my BBQ didn't show ANYONE on the map so you know what that means right? I patrol and there is a gen right in back of the hook and it's almost done and so I know "hey they were just here" so not even 10secs after I damage that gen I see the guy gets unhooked I blink in smack him and rehook him now he is at tier 2 now crazy thing is I wanted to find that guy again the one who saved but can't. However, right when I go back to that gen I see that people were working on it because it's up and running again and guess what happens? Unhook I blink he is dead this time and after that I find 2 guys working on that exact gen match goes on from there I get 3 kills.

So now that I've showed you what happened I get hate mail for it of course and it goes on saying all the normal stuff from you're bad kid to tunneler and camper which is whatever right? I try to tell the guy your teammates forced that upon me and he still went on saying "it's a choice to camp" and he is right but lets be real here and well what's the logical choice? So they go on and say stuff like "I play killer too I don't need to camp because I believe in my own skill blah blah blah" but again this isn't a skill situation it's a common sense one and on both parties killer and survivor everyone knows you shouldn't unhook a guy close to the killer unless you know they are gone or if you've got barrowed time which they didn't have... so I go on defend myself a bit more and they try to rank shame me saying "Oh this is why you aren't rank one and you're stuck at rank 6" which tbh IDC about rank it's a meme practically and has no value or weight on true skill but whatever right well? Argument goes on how I'm still the bad guy the state the obvious and keep in mind the survivor I'm arguing with is actually a coward because they let a guy die and no I wasn't camping him you see during the closing moments of the match instead of opening the gate this guy is hiding in a corner while I'm chasing this ace around and from there once I' done and I hook the ace he escapes via hatch so he let ace die. Now let me speed this up cause it's getting too long but yeah he goes on ranks shames and says to me that the Nurse is easy to play and is easymode….just what? Now if you're a console player how often do you even see a nurse? Right... so yeah my story guy says its pointless to argue with me and people like me will never change and I'll stay stuck at a low rank also I'm probably a rank 20 survivor? TBH I'm a rank 4 but it matters not so yeah there's my story and I hope y'all will share yours.

Also I'd like to add if you are a survivor and have an interesting camp story you can go ahead and share it.

Not so intersting just a minor vent but I was minor camped (they kept moving about but never to far) and I die on 1 hook because a swf team decided me a guy who unhooked and went down for it 2 times is not worth saving and this is not the first time either swf teams really should invite other players into there party chat's

Some of you need to realize that camping in certain situations is fine and a part of the game.

The entire origin of being camped is that you "got caught". So don't act like if someone camps you on the hook is it 100% their fault. It isn't.

It is your fault for being on the hook. Let's not be liberal in our thinking on this.

Killer shouldn't camp for no reason either... it is in bad taste, but completely legitimate. You guys have borrowed time, body blocking, swf (comms)...adrenaline, instant heals etc...swivel hooks too

If a killer is camping a hook hard... then that is time to do gens...

some of you act like if a killer is camping a hook then the gens can't be done or something. That isn't the case. I'm not saying camping is "cool" because it isn't, and let's be straight... survivors are the majority of the toxicity in this game.

They just are. There's 4:1 ratio in ever match, so by sure volume they are.

    But to answer your question...

If you pick claudette with prestige 3 clothes... I'm tunnelling you hardcore.

If you bring a flashlight into the match, you're getting camped until the struggle phase.

If you bring DS into the match and strike me... I'll tunnel until you die.

If you tbag at all, or show any sort of entitlement... you're getting camped.

I do not give hatches unless there's 1 very early disconnect... and survivors need to understand that in "Dead by Daylight" they are not entitled to survive.

    period.

Seems I'm not alone on P3 Claudette... always make a special exception for her.

    Yeah it is just annoying.

I mean you play a dark character with very dark clothes/bloody?

It's irritating concept... so I make their game miserable.

Really is and I've had a SWF run all P3 Claudette's toolboxes, Leader, Prove thyself, Selfcare and DS; twas cancer because I was the Nurse at the time and well it's hard to track them at times because of how dark they were... plus they popped that thing that darkens the mist. Now ever since than if I see more than one Claudette it's ebony mori time. I've gotten really lucky with mori's and have a total of 30.

I actually enjoy the thrill of camping as Huntress. If I can get them in the basement then I really have a party.

The decision to camp or not to camp always depends on how the match is going.

I didn't bring ruin and these crazy mechanics have 3 gens done a minute into the game? ( I might exaggerate a little here ), yeah I'm more inclined to camp so I get at least one bloody sacrifice if you all bring Brand New Part and the whole team.

You constantly annoy me with a fleshlight? Yeah I'm going to tunnel and murder you.
You're so cocky you all camp the hook before I even get there? Yeah, no mercy.
You destroy my "Devour Hope" hex 20 seconds into the match, the totem I brought just because I felt like seeing the finishing animation for a killer again without going red mori? Yeah, you get hunted down, hooked and camped till you are out of the game. Ruin my fun I ruin yours.

Sometimes it might hit the wrong people when I'm still in the "no mercy" mode after an excitingly annoying SWF match, and regular random players have to suffer for it.

    Well, sorry, that's life.
Plus, as has been said before, you have no RIGHT to survive in this game.

If everything goes nice, I absolutely love chasing different survivors, I play this game for the jump scares and chases, not camping players, and I often abandon hook a second after I put someone up to find a new victim or get gens done... but you get what you ask for. If you sabotage my game or want to play it "competitive", yeah, you'll swallow your own medicine.

Wraith using ghost add on at the school. Hook a guy or front of a house step inside the door stands still and uncloak facing the door. Moments pass and in comes a hero. I follow after he passes the door, I get the hook grab.
I'm already looking to drop this guy because hooked survivor's timer is running out. So I'm dropping him as hero two comes for the rebound. Grab again. End up with a sacrifice and two slugs from a camp

I tend to camp if the gates are open. I get the same kinda harassment, gates are open you didn't get any kills all game but you have one person hooked. I remember one game, I was pretty new but had noed. Guy had bullied all game with flashlight and teabags. Well gates are open and they go to save with the same guy trying to body block to help every one getting out. Well didn't work well with noed xD . I hooked the lil sausage and I stayed there... any distance at all and every one would escape. You can guess the level of salt and entitlement I got after that match xD . This individual is what made me stop caring about any thing survivors said. I have seen many others but none quite had that childish attitude of this guy.

So now if the gates are powered camping, tunneling its all on the table. If survivors can't understand its the desperate last stand for the killer (especially if they played by their arbitrary entitled rules for the rest of the game) they can just deal with the end game.

@TeaLeaf Just ignore survivors complaints, more often then not it's just entitled whining or some similar
    nonsense.

Some people do camp for no reason early game, it is a tactic that weakens the teams. I hard patrol if I see two survivors in the area. You get more points for hooking so I'm  not afraid of survivor unhooks.

You gotta do what you gotta do and I get it camping can get annoying I've been camped but either way at the end of the day it's just a game no need to get all mad and get all mad about losing a "pip" like really does rank matter that much to people especially for a game such as DBD?

I main Wraith. So uh this happens a lot. I'll hook someone, stealth and run check way across the map some other generators, I'll find a sprint trail of someone heading towards the hook I left and I follow it. I find survivor, but dont uncloak still cause might as well make use of my speed buff of course so I chase while stealthed. Survivor reaches just about to the hooked victim when I catch up and I uncloak to bash whoever.

This repeatedly gets me hate mail for camping, when point in fact I most certainly wasn't but... of course they can't tell any different because of how wraith stealth works. Seriously every other game I get this complaint from sum1. TBH tho I've had survivors defend me against other survs in chat afterwards because they are aware that I didn't in fact camp, because they know how wraith works and saw my shimmer as I was stalking back to the hook or across map at time of incident.

Pet peev of mine? Someone calling spine chill on me for camping.... when were already down to the last 3 gens when 1 or two are within the 36 meters. Of course im gonna freaking come back in my patrol. theres no reason for me to run the other side of the map if they give me a power zone hahaha.

Usually when I play Nurse I find two people at the start and quickly down them.

You can probably guess what happens next.

Thats called an unsafe hook. They're fixing that in the next patch to punish survivors who camp the hook while the killer is right there. You don't get many points from it if its unsafe, and one of the new perks takes into consideration the safety of you unhooking someone. If survivors would stop treating each other like trash and points, killers wouldn't need to camp. 1 person hooked 3 people waiting in the bush I can see in plain sight.... Its not camping at that point, the survivors are just asking to get beat up or risking the life of the guy whos already on a hook and high risk.

Thats the problem with survivors though. I play a majority of pig, but sometimes I've ventured off and picked up meg as my survivor go to. They treat each other like points. If you're not in their SWF group, or even if there are no SWF groups and its just 4 randoms, everyone treats each other like points, they don't care if the next person dies, they don't care if they sandbag you, they don't care enough about anybody else on the team to even play the game without disconnecting for some arbitrary reason.

I say this all the time, The strongest killers in the game are the survivors. Survivors have killed each other more than I ever could as the pig.

Tell you what mate. C2S, he is a small (very small) YouTuber who is a nurse main and has a incredible guide on how to play her. From the blink to the lungh. I highly recommend you go watch all 4 parts. It has made me a decent console nurse.

Mesme > That's not camping, they are just dumb survivors. I'm more a main survivors than a main killer but seriously, so many time have I seen survivors unhook another one the minute after I hooked him. And I'm near, breaking a gen or a pallet. And after they said "tunneler" noob killer" it's their own fault, don't unhook a survivor this early plus if the killer is near. You're condamning your friend. And after they said you camp? Sometimes what they called camp isn't. And we haven't talked about the "camp of generators". When you're a smart survivor you don't do gens next one to another, because at the end of the game, of course killer will go to see if someone is doing a gen. That's a normal thing to do.
